No they have set difficulties they range from normal to hard. Combat Challenge 5 is horrible. You die in 1 hit

I did all combat trials and boss trials. Also did all Purgatory trials on Hell difficulty but the Challengers of Challenges trophy is not popping for me, it’s my last one, please help Powerpyxman, you’re my only hope.

Because one more boss challenge appears when you defeat him.

Did you fought the secret boss in chapter 6, it is the thief in his final form, after defeating him you will unlock new trial boss fight.

Even with Ryu I can’t get past the third wave (Challenge 5)

Made it to final wave in challenge 5 and this is one of the most miserable experiences in my gaming life. Absolutely nonsense design.
Ryu is more manageable than yakumo because of the ninpo. Yakumo’s tool weapon makes phase 2 easier but at the expense of every other phase being more difficult. Gonna try getting the accessory to increase ki recovery speed but this is going to be an absolutely awful experience.
