Introduction

Welcome to the Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 Trophy Guide! Bloodlines 2 is the long in development sequel to the cult classic Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines originally released on PC in 2004. Bloodlines 2 is not very much of a sequel to the first game, playing like a more modern open world action game with heavy emphasis on the main plotline without much extra to do in terms of side activities outside of three collectibles sets and three sidequest chains that don’t have any bearing on the main plot.

Trophy-wise the game requires a total of 6 playthroughs if you want to earn all trophies including the Shadows & Silk DLC (automatically included with the base game in a separate DLC trophy set). Each Elder clan has an associated trophy for completing the game as it, which is a choice you make at the start of the game after the tutorial and cannot be changed. There are also 6 individual ending trophies, so you will need to make sure you earn a different ending on all 6 of the required playthroughs. You will need to do at least one playthrough where you 100% complete the game, collecting all collectibles and unlocking all skills from the clan contacts so that you can learn all 6 perks at the top of the ability tree in one playthrough (required for a DLC trophy).

Most trophies aside from the story-related ones are missable as there isn’t any post story free-roam, but due to the required number of playthroughs you can work on each of the combat trophies in separate playthroughs, and don’t need to grind to unlock all possible skills with ability points in one playthrough. Combat trophies require you to be playing on at least East difficulty, but you can lower the difficulty at any time in the settings menu if you aren’t working on combat trophies. You can check the list below the roadmap for specific spots during the story where there are large groups of enemies to earn the combat trophies, which is easier than trying to earn the large group related ones on enemies around the city. Work on one ending each playthrough and do the 100% completion on any of these playthroughs.

Step 1: 100% Playthrough

BUGGED TROPHY WARNING: Currently :bronze: Frequent Flyer & :bronze: Wings of the Night can glitch for players and won’t unlock for unknown reasons. If this happens there is no currently confirmed fix to earn them. Try to earn this trophies immediately on your first playthrough as soon as you have access to the open world to avoid this.

The first step will be to do a 100% completion playthrough, finding all collectibles and unlocking all skills from the clan contacts. Complete the side quests that appear each day before progressing as these give more XP and Blood Resonance for unlocking skills. The game will warn you if you are missing any before entering key locations or resting at Haven. Don’t immediately spend all of your ability points on new abilities, instead prioritize unlocking all of the top row Perks to earn :bronze: The Benefits of Office, as it isn’t possible to learn all possible abilities in one playthrough unless you wanted to spend excessive hours grinding open world enemies unnecessarily.

During this playthrough it’s recommended you complete the A City of Kinship ending to avoid doing extra work in new playthroughs. This ending involves completing the quests for the Clan contacts for the possibility of them taking over as Prince (it’s recommended to do this with Mrs. Thorn). If you missed this in first playthrough its not a lot of extra work to do just Mrs. Thorn’s quests again in a new playthrough, but you can save yourself a bit of time if you don’t care about doing a playthrough where you earn an ending on your own first.

You can play as whichever clan you want during each playthrough, but double check which ability trophies you can earn with your unlocked abilities and work on those. Refer to the story locations list at the bottom of the Roadmap for easy locations to earn combat trophies.

During the main quest A Work of Holy Innocents that occurs around 1/3 into the game, make sure to switch your difficulty to Normal and don’t unlock your powers to earn the only trophy that requires playing above Easy difficulty: :bronze: A Diva Defeated. This can be done on any playthrough, but you’ll likely have more health in this first playthrough from working on the side quests and unlocking abilities, so it’s slightly easier now instead of later.

You will need to find the following collectibles, each gives a trophy:

  • 30 Anarch Tags
  • 30 I.A.O. Surveillance Cameras
  • 9 Crosses of Saint James

Step 2: Remaining Endings with each Clan Elder while earning Combat Trophies

After your first playthrough, you will have 5 playthroughs remaining to earn the other Clan Elder trophies, along with the remaining 5 endings. Follow the Endings Guide for the remaining endings you are missing. Also check which combat-related trophies you are still missing and prioritize the ones related to your chosen Clan on each playthrough. Your chosen clan requires much lower ability point amounts to unlock skills, instead of needing to go out of your way to grind Blood Resonance for a high cost skills later.

You can drop the difficulty to Casual outside of when you are trying to earn the combat trophies, then if you have obtained them all before you are done with the 6 playthroughs, you can stay on Casual difficulty permanently to speedrun the game. A playthrough where you are on Casual difficulty only completing main story objectives should take around 5 – 8 hours depending on how fast you can be.

On repeat playthroughs you can skip unnecessary objectives in Fabien’s sections. The two biggest timesavers are in the 2nd section you can go immediately to the construction site and pick up the photographs to show Silky, and in the 6th section you can go straight to Katsumi after looking at the book in Campbell’s office without going to the other objectives. Dialogue choices in Fabien’s section don’t matter outside of when you are required to do specific ones to progress, so you can generally keep pressing left on the dpad which selects the first dialogue and then skip through lines.

Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 Trophy Guide

A Full-blooded Elder
Unlock all Trophies in the main game.
Platinum
Earn all other trophies in Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 to unlock Platinum (DLC trophies not required).
Master of the Bladed Hand
During Split Second simultaneously hit 4 or more enemies with Bladed Hand.
Bronze
Split Second and Bladed Hand are two abilities of the Banu Haqim clan, whose contact is Niko at Aurora Pawn. Split Second slows down time for a short period, while Bladed Hand targets enemies in front of you and will instantly kill weak mortal enemies if they are hit with it. To earn this trophy you need to trigger Split Second to slow down time, then quickly move in with Bladed Hand and hit 4 enemies with one activation of it. If you want you can group up enemies by throwing items from stealth or using Cauldron of Blood from clan Tremere to get a large number close together before attempting this.
Catch!
Destroy an enemy with their own grenade or explosive projectile.
Bronze
This trophy is awarded for killing an enemy with a grenade or explosive projectile that they try to attack you with. Enemies that throw grenades or use the explosive crossbow (the only explosive projectile weapon) will only start to appear around halfway through the game during the main quest The Pathways of Hesperides, then will appear periodically throughout the rest of the game. When you encounter one that attacks you with either of these explosives, you can grab them with :r2: then throw them back at enemies with :r1: , where they will instantly explode when they impact a surface.
Bowled Over
Knock down 5 enemies in a single Brujah Charge.
Bronze
Charge is an ability of the Brujah clan, whose contact is Silky at The Dutchman. Charge causes you to rush forward grabbing an enemy in front of you, then continue moving forward and knocking over any enemies in front of you. This means that for this trophy you need a total of 6 trophies, 1 to grab and then 5 more to run into. You cannot grab Thin Blood enemies with the charge (the tall strong enemies) only mortal enemies, but running into Thin Bloods counts toward one of the 5 knockdowns. If you have a group of enemies set up to do this with try to group them up and then walk around them until you have a mortal enemy in the front before starting the charge. You aren’t able to steer very much during the charge, so you will need to have the 5 enemies you are knock down mostly lined up.
Silent But Violent
Blow up an enemy that has Blood Curse and Mute active on them.
Bronze
Blood Curse is an ability of the Tremere clan whose contact is Mrs. Thorn at Wake the Dead, while Mute is an ability of the Banu Haqim clan whose contact is Niko at Aurora Pawn. You will need to specifically learn both of these during a playthrough to be able to use them, then equip them both as the same time. Blood Curse will effectively turn an enemy into a walking bomb, where they will explode the next time they take damage, whereas Mute will prevent an enemy from making any noise for a short duration. To earn this trophy you can cast Blood Curse on any enemy, including Thin Blood vampires, then cast Mute. While Mute is active quickly damage the enemy in any way (you can throw an item at them from a distance) to cause them to explode and earn the trophy.
Angry Mob
Use Mass Manipulation to Taunt 5 enemies at once.
Bronze
Mass Manipulation is an ability of the Ventrue clan whose contact is Fletcher at Makom Bar, while Taunt is an ability of the Brujah clan, whose contact is Silky at The Dutchman. You will need to specifically learn both of these during a playthrough to be able to use them, then equip them both at the same time. It’s recommended to do this on your Venture playthrough due to the high ability point cost of Mass Manipulation, then it is easier to just learn Taunt during the playthrough. Mass Manipulation causes all enemies in your view to be targeted and allow you to use another ability like Taunt on all of them at once, which makes it one of the strongest abilities in the game. Taunt will alert the targeted enemies to your position, forcing them to run at you while dropping whatever weapon they were currently holding. Use this combination to Taint at least 5 enemies at once to earn this trophy.
Clean Up the Streets
As Phyre, collect every Anarch tag.
Bronze
This trophy is awarded for collecting all 30 Anarch tags while playing as Phyre. Anarch tags are glowing graffiti that appear on walls of buildings around Seattle and are present right from the start of the game. Your crosshair will grow the closer you are to looking at one which can help you find their locations, then when you are looking at one hold :r2: to collect it. Collecting all 30 and then returning to Fletcher in Makom Bar will complete the associated side quest and award 2000 XP.

All three collectible types must be collected before entering Weaver Tower at the end of the third last main story quest The Coursing of the Rats. After you enter Weaver Tower during this main quest you can’t exit, and therefore can’t obtain the remaining collectibles without reloading a prior main quest save or starting a new playthrough.

Cutting the Feed
As Phyre, disable every I.A.O. surveillance camera.
Bronze
This trophy is awarded for disabling all 30 I.A.O. surveillance cameras while playing as Phyre. These are security cameras that appear on the walls of buildings during the main quest We Don’t Do Ghost Stories around 2/3 of the way through the story. Your crosshair will grow the closer you are to looking at one which can help you find their locations, then when you are looking at one hold :r2: to disable it. Disabling all 30 and then returning to Silky in The Dutchman will complete the associated side quest and award 2000 XP.

» I.A.O. Surveillance Camera Locations Guide

Crucifixation
As Phyre, collect every Cross of Saint James.
Bronze
This trophy is awarded for collecting all 9 Crosses of Saint James while playing as Phyre. These are gold crosses that appear multiple times during story events, with 9 that can be found within most of the buildings you can enter around the city. They are all present immediately in the buildings, but you can’t always access the buildings until certain points in the story. You will automatically enter all buildings where the crosses are found during the story events, so you don’t need to specifically go out of your way to go to their locations. Your crosshair will grow the closer you are to looking at one which can help you find their locations, then when you are looking at one press :square: to pick it up. Picking up all 9 and then returning to Patience in Aurora Pawn will complete the associated side quest and award 2000 XP.

» Cross of Saint James Locations Guide

Wings of the Night
Travel 75 meters in a single glide.
Bronze
GLITCHED

This trophy is awarded for travelling 75 meters in a single uninterpreted glide. Gliding is performed by holding :x: at any time while in the air, and allows you to stay in the air while moving forward. You will need to climb up to any moderately tall rooftop, then jump off and glide toward ground level while moving forward to reach a distance of 75 meters.

BUG WARNING: Currently it seems this trophy can glitch and not unlock for players for unknown reasons. There isn’t a a specific confirmed fix currently if this does occur for you. To avoid this try and earn it immediately in your first playthrough when you have access to the open world of Seattle after the tutorial section.

Blood Betrothal
Drink blood directly from a willing vampire’s vein.
Bronze
MISSABLE

This trophy is awarded for drinking blood from any of the 6 Clan contacts present in the city. To do this, you need to go to their location and choose the “Flirt” dialogue option that will appear once you go through all their other dialogue options. This must be done on two separate in-game “days” (instances where the side quests on the map refresh) and before you learn all 4 abilities from the clan contact. If you do this then when you learn the 4th ability from them they will offer to allow you to drink their blood directly, which you must accept with the bite dialogue option, awarding this trophy.

The DLC trophies :bronze: A Moment of Patience and :bronze: A Gauntlet Laid Down require you to perform this on Patience and Onda respectively, so you will earn this while going for either of these two trophies.

An Elder Unchained
Complete the game.
Gold
Story related, cannot be missed.

This trophy is awarded for completing the story for the first time, regardless of the ending you obtain.

The Silence of the Blood
Complete the game as an Elder of the Banu Haqim.
Bronze
This trophy is awarded for completing the game as an Elder of the Banu Haquim clan.

After the first story quest To Taste a Foreign Body you will have the option to pick which clan Elder you want to be. This functions as a starting class and determines your passive ability, along with your main ability tree and which other skills you have “affinity” with (reduced ability point cost to unlock). This cannot be changed later in the game, hence the requirement to play through the story 6 times if you want to earn all trophies on top of the 6 endings. Clan choice doesn’t have a significant impact on the story, only gives some extra dialogue options at certain points.

A Lesson from the Rabble
Complete the game as an Elder of the Brujah.
Bronze
This trophy is awarded for completing the game as an Elder of the Brujah clan.
The Warlock Ascendant
Complete the game as an Elder of the Tremere.
Bronze
This trophy is awarded for completing the game as an Elder of the Tremere clan.
A Noble Legacy
Complete the game as an Elder of the Ventrue.
Bronze
This trophy is awarded for completing the game as an Elder of the Ventrue clan.
An Elder’s Speed
Counter 30 enemy attacks by dashing towards them.
Bronze
This trophy is awarded for countering a total of 30 enemy attacks with dash counters during a playthrough. Dash counters are performed from pressing dash :l1: while moving forward when you are right beside an enemy. If performed correctly to counter an enemy attack they will be temporarily stunned, allowing you to get in free hits.
An Elder’s Strength
Break 20 enemy blocks with heavy attacks.
Bronze
This trophy is awarded for breaking a total of 20 enemy blocks with heavy attacks during a playthrough. While being attacked enemies will sometimes start blocking your attacks, then you can hold :r1: and release to hit them with a heavy attack which will break their block and knock them backwards. Enemies typically start blocking after you perform a full melee combo on them, so you can perform a normal combo then stop attacking to see if the enemy will start blocking.

You can sometimes bait enemies to block by dash countering them multiple times in a row, where they will then back away and start blocking. Thin-blood enemies will very rarely block, so if you are trying to bait blocks you should do this on the normal human enemies.

I Do Not Drink… Wine
Feed on citizens of every type of Blood Resonance.
Bronze
This trophy is awarded for feeding on a citizen with each type of Blood Resonance. While playing as Phyre, you can feed on Sanguine, Choleric, and Melancholic citizens to obtain Resonance points, which are used to unlock the abilities at each of the clan contacts. This final type of Blood Resonance is Phlegmatic, which are only present during Fabian’s story sections and used to regain his ability charges. You are required to feed on someone immediately in his first story section.
Kiss and Kill
Pull enemies to you with Telekinesis and feed on them 30 times.
Bronze
This trophy is awarded for pulling enemies toward you with Telekinesis and feeding on them 30 times during a playthrough. Normal human enemies can be pulled toward you with :r2: , directly into range of your feed attack :l2: + :r2: . This is very useful if you are in stealth as this doesn’t alert enemies if they aren’t looking at you when this occurs, and the feed attack will instantly kill normal human enemies. This also counts if you attack an enemy normally to the point they are stunned and have the attack and feed prompts, then you pull them toward you.
A Fresh Vintage
Use an ability gained from a Clan Contact.
Bronze
This trophy is awarded for using any ability unlocked from a Clan Contact for the first time during a playthrough. Clan Contacts allow you to learn abilities not from your chosen starting Clan in exchange for Blood Resonance, which then allows you to unlock them with ability points. Unlock any ability in this manner and equip it, then use it to earn this trophy.
Bottle It Up
Use all 4 types of alchemical Elixir.
Bronze
This trophy is awarded for using all 4 types of alchemical Elixirs at least once during a playthrough. Alchemical Elixirs are potions that can be obtained throughout the game, and are used to heal your, replenish blood points, increase your attack, or increase your defence. There are a limited number that can be obtained throughout the game, as they generally are only found during story quests or obtained from Niko when completing his side quests if you complete the objective without a Masquerade breach. Your crosshair will highlight ones that can be picked up when you are near them, and there are 10 – 20 of each that can be obtained throughout the game, so you should make sure to pick them up if you have space (you can carry 5 of each) then use at least one of each during a playthrough.
By Royal Decree
Combine Mass Manipulation and Terminal Decree to eliminate at least 6 enemies at once.
Bronze
Mass Manipulation and Terminal Decree are both abilities of the Ventrue clan, whose contact is Fletcher at Makom Bar. Mass Manipulation causes all enemies in your view to be targeted by an ability, while Terminal Decree causes any normal human enemy to eliminate themself, or stun Thin Blood enemies for a short period. To earn this trophy you must use this combination to eliminate 6 normal human enemies at once.
I Curse You All!
Combine Blood Curse and Blood Salvo to eliminate at least 4 enemies at once.
Bronze
Blood Curse and Blood Salvo are abilities of the Tremere clan whose contact is Mrs. Thorn at Wake the Dead. Blood Curse allows you to curse an enemy which causes them to explode the next time they take damage, while Blood Salvo allows you to generate 4 blood knives that can then be shot at enemies. To earn this trophy it is easiest to also combine with the Tremere ability Cauldron of Blood, which will cause an enemy to scream in pain and draw other enemies near. Cast Blood Curse on an enemy, then cast Cauldron of Blood on another to group a bunch of enemies together, then finally use Blood Salvo to shoot the enemy you used Blood Curse on to cause them to explode, killing any other enemies nearby.
Termination Without Notice
Eliminate an enemy while Possessing them.
Bronze
Possession is an ability of the Ventrue clan, whose contact is Fletcher at Makom Bar. Possession allows you to take control of a nearby enemy, then move them around and direct them to attack another enemy. For this trophy, you need to not do this, but instead kill them while you are currently possessing them. The easiest way to do this is by walking an enemy off a high ledge, such as any of the buildings around Seattle where enemies will appear during the story. As long as the drop is high enough the enemy will die when they hit the ground, awarding the trophy.
Total Recall
Eliminate an enemy by teleporting into them with Recall.
Bronze
Recall is an ability of the Tremere clan whose contact is Mrs. Thorn at Wake the Dead. Recall allows you to mark a spot on then ground, then when triggered again teleports you back to the location you had marked. If done while an enemy is standing on this spot it will instantly kill them, awarding the trophy. You can do this either by placing a Recall point then luring an enemy onto it by throwing an object, or by setting the Recall point in the middle of a group of enemies and then triggering Recall and hoping you hit an enemy.
Chain Lightning
Eliminate 5 enemies with a single use of Lightning Strikes.
Bronze
Lightning Strike is an ability of the Brujah clan, whose contact is Silky at The Dutchman. When used this causes time to stop, and for a few seconds you will be marking enemies you are looking at if they are close enough to you, then rapidly punching all marked enemies. To earn this trophy you will need a group of 5 enemies group up and most likely weakened, as the initial punches of Lightning Strike don’t do a massive amount of damage. Enemies also need to be standing very close in front of you to be targeted, you can’t target enemies who are more than a couple meters away. One of the easier ways to earn this is to combine it with Mass Manipulation from the Ventrue abilities, along with Taunt from the Brujah abilities. If you Taunt a group of enemies this will cause them to drop their weapons and attempt to attack you with melee, which makes them easier to group up. Try to weaken each of the enemies, then position them all in front of you before activating Lightning Strike, then quickly pan over them to mark them a couple times each.
An Unseen Judgement
Eliminate 7 enemies with a single use of Unseen Aura.
Bronze
Unseen Aura is an ability of the Banu Haqim clan, whose contact is Niko at Aurora Pawn. When used this causes you to become invisible for around 20 – 30 seconds, at which time you are still able to attack enemies without breaking the invisibility. To earn this trophy you need to eliminate at least 7 enemies in one instance of Unseen Aura. You can combine this with any other abilities or attack methods you want, as long as you eliminate at least 7 enemies in one usage of the ability.
Return to Sender
Destroy a vampire with their own gun.
Bronze
This trophy is awarded for destroying an enemy thin-blood (heavy enemy, not the weak mortal enemies) using their own gun. You can pick up guns dropped by enemies by grabbing them with :r2: , then shooting them with :r1: . There are two ways you can destroy a vampire with their own gun, either attacking them until their health drops all the way and they are stunned with the attack and feed prompts on them, or using the Brujah ability Taunt on them which will cause them to drop their gun and try to attack you with melee. Perform either of these actions then pick up the dropped gun and kill the Thin Blood vampire with it to earn this trophy.
Elder Reader
As Phyre, collect 5 Codex entries.
Bronze
This trophy is awarded for collecting a total of 5 Codex entries by interacting with objects as Phyre.

You obtain Codex entries automatically at various points throughout the game, but these 3 trophies specifically require you to unlock them by interacting with objectives while you are playing as Phyre. Objects that give Codex entries will be highlighted in Heightened Senses :r3: as well as with the enlarging of your crosshair when you are looking at them. Collecting a Codex entry gives 10 XP per item, so outside of earning these trophies they generally aren’t worth picking up on subsequent playthroughs.

Most Codex entries are only available within story locations that you cannot return to, so when attempting to earn these 3 trophies you want to make sure to pick up all possible ones that you encounter during at least one playthrough. The hint from your crosshair will appear from a large distance away, so you can make sure to always find all items your crosshair is pointing to before progressing. There are around 100 total in story locations and that appear around Seattle as the story progresses, so many more than are required.

Elder Bookworm
As Phyre, collect 25 Codex entries.
Bronze
This trophy is awarded for collecting a total of 25 Codex entries by interacting with objects as Phyre.
Elder Bibliomaniac
As Phyre, collect 50 Codex entries.

The Blood is Strong
Unlock and equip all Abilities and Perks for your Clan.
Bronze
This trophy is awarded for unlocking all Abilities and the Perk for you chosen starting Clan. This means the vertical line of abilities in the Ability tree from where you start, which are able to be unlocked in order from bottom to top with ability points. These have the lowest ability point cost of any ability during your playthrough, so you should focus on unlocking all of these first and unlock them all early in the story as you progress.
Fashionista
In a single playthrough, wear 12 unique outfits – not including the default rags outfit.
Silver
This trophy is awarded for wearing 12 different outfits during a single playthrough. Outfits are obtained by unlocking your starting Clan’s main skills, and then by unlocking the ability to learn the other clan abilities from each of the Clan contacts with Resonance Points. To earn the DLC trophy :bronze: The Benefits of Office you will need to unlock all abilities from all Clan contacts to be ability to purchase all perks with Ability Points, so you will be able to equip more than 12 outfits while completing this requirement.
Welcome to Seattle
Taste the night air in Seattle in the 21st Century.
Bronze
Story related, cannot be missed.

This is the first story related trophy of the game, which is awarded after you reach the top of the apartment building you start the game in.

Silent Death
Eliminate 50 enemies without alerting them.
Bronze
This trophy is awarded for eliminating a total of 50 enemies without alerting them during a playthrough. This counts cumulatively across an entire playthrough, and counts both melee stealth kills and vampiric abilities as long as enemies are killed before they are aware of you.
From the Shadows
Eliminate 7 enemies in a row without getting detected.
Bronze
This trophy is awarded for eliminating 7 enemies in a row without being detected. This can be done at effectively any time during the game, and with many vampiric abilities, it doesn’t specifically need to be melee stealth kills. As long as enemies don’t become aware of you between kills and start attacking it still counts toward the in a row requirement. This means you can shoot enemies with abilities like Blood Salvo, or blow up groups with Blood Curse as long as they don’t become aware of you while you are using the abilities.
What Sup?
Feed on 30 citizens with no witnesses.
Bronze
This trophy is awarded for feeding on a total of 30 human citizens around Seattle without being noticed by anyone. This is cumulative during a playthrough, and counts on any citizens, including police officers and both Resonant and non Resonant humans.
Breach Contained
Recover from a Masquerade breach.
Bronze
This trophy is awarded for recovering from a Masquerade breach for the first time. A Masquerade breach occurs when you perform vampire actions in view of normal humans while moving around Seattle, which increases the detection bar at the top of the screen. When it reaches the red bar a breach occurs, and police officers will actively attack you when they see you, and being in view of any human will continually increase the bar, and if it reaches the maximum level you are immediately killed. To recover from a breach, get out of sight of normal humans so the eye on the top of the screen closes until the bar drains back to yellow.
Frequent Flyer
Glide a total distance of 1000 meters.
Bronze
GLITCHED

This trophy is awarded for gliding a total distance of 1000 meters during a playthrough. This counts all glide distance during a playthrough, and 1000 meters is not very far so you are likely to earn this very early in your first playthrough.

The Justice of the Mob
Give Benny Muldoon to the Anarchs.
Bronze
MISSABLE

This is the first pair of mutually exclusive trophies, related to the outcome with Benny during the main story quest A Star of Cold Aspect and is related to the first major decision point in the game.

For this trophy you must choose the dialogue option “You may keep Benny.”, which causes you to leave Benny with Katsumi and the Anarchs to deal with.

The Justice of the Prince
Return Benny Muldoon to the Camarilla.
Bronze
MISSABLE

For this trophy you must choose the dialogue option “Benny comes with me.”, which causes you to take Benny back to Ryong.

A Willing Victim
Convince Verona to be Lou Graham’s next drink.
Bronze
MISSABLE

This is the second pair of mutually exclusive trophies, related to the outcome of the main story quest Dish of the Day that occurs near the end of the game. Lou asks you have scout a meal for her, and you have the option of sending Verona to her, who you met earlier in the story. You have the option of not interacting with her at all during this quest, so for both of these trophy you need to interact with her first instead of finding another victim.

Verona will be on the rooftop of The Atrium. To earn this trophy, select the dialogue option “I can make an introduction for you.” which will then allow you to tell Lou about Verona.

A Dire Warning
Convince Verona to stay away from Lou Graham.
Bronze
MISSABLE

To earn this trophy, select the dialogue option “If Lou comes near you – run.” which will then require you find another victim for Lou or return to her and tell her you found no one suitable.

The Embrace
As Phyre, sire a Childe.
Bronze
MISSABLE

This trophy is earned during the main story quest We Don’t Do Ghost Stories which occurs around 2/3 through the game. At the end of this quest you encounter Agent Baker, who asks you to turn them. Choosing not to turn them locks you into the I.A.O ending, so you will be making the choice to turn them on all 5 playthroughs when you are going for the other endings.

That’s the Spirit
In a single playthrough, complete every Spirit’s Touch conversation.
Bronze
MISSABLE

This trophy is awarded for completing all Spirit’s Touch interactions during a playthrough while playing as Fabien. Spirit’s Touch is Fabien’s ability that allows him to listen to the thoughts of inanimate objects.  The majority of them are required to be interacted with to progress the story, but there are three missable interactions that you aren’t required to complete to progress the story. All interactions are listed below within the Fabien section and quest name that they are included in. If you complete all interactions during a playthrough, the trophy will unlock during the scene in the final Fabien section when you are speaking to the arms box.

While investigating Onda at St. Stephens you interact with the knife in the wall to learn about what she was asked to do, then also need to interact with the hidden note that is in the space to the right just before the wall with the knife that reveals what Onda actually did to the priest. Only interacting with the knife doesn’t count as you haven’t learn the full secret.

Bronze

» Endings Guide

A Diva Defeated
Complete Ysabella’s masterpiece with your abilities locked on normal or hard difficulty.
Bronze
MISSABLE

During main quest A Work of Holy Innocents, you enter The Atrium and progress to a point where you have your powers locked. To earn this trophy you need to currently be playing on either Normal or Hard difficulty, then finish the boss fight against Ysabella with your powers locked. This trophy is mutually exclusive with :bronze: Artistic Merit.

During this section you fight through 3 floors, on the first two floors you fight against groups of weak enemies that die in a single hit, then on the third floor you fight Ysabella. In the first two rooms, make sure to check around the areas for consumables that you can pick up, as they will help against Ysabella.

Before you fight Ysabella you have a conversation with her, and to earn this trophy you need to complete the conversation without having her unlock you abilities, then beat her. To avoid having her unlock your powers, in the final dialogue where you have 4 options choose “Speak or I destroy your art.”

Once the fight starts, you can use the :left: Potency Elixirs you picked up and just keep attacking her for the duration to drop her health. After each of the first two health bars, she will jump away and you will be attacked by more weak enemies, then she will jump back in. If you don’t have 3 Potency Elixers to use in all three phases, use a :right: Fortitude Elixir in the final phase to boost your defence. Be aware in the second and third phase she will start blocking and dodging more actively, so if you aren’t doing any damage use a heavy attack to stun her first. In the third phase some more of the weak enemies will keep appearing, but they do very little damage so you can mostly ignore them and focus on Ysabella. Once you defeat her, the trophy unlocks once the cutscene moves to Weaver Tower.

The Burning of the Books
Escape Willem’s hallucinations and confront him.
Bronze
Story related, cannot be missed.

This is the fifth story related trophy of the game, which is awarded after you complete the puzzle related to confronting Willem.

Face and defeat the Gardener.
Bronze
Story related, cannot be missed.

This trophy is the sixth story trophy, earned during main quest The Pathways of Hesperides.

Unmasking an Anarchist
Come face-to-face with Damsel.
Bronze
Story related, cannot be missed.

This trophy is the seventh story trophy, earned during the main quest The Coursing of the Rats.

Artistic Merit
Convince Ysabella to give you back your powers.
Bronze
MISSABLE

During main quest A Work of Holy Innocents, you enter The Atrium and progress to a point where you have your powers locked. To earn this trophy you need to convince Ysabella to give your powers back before you start her boss fight. This trophy is mutually exclusive with :bronze: A Diva Defeated.

To have Ysabella unlock your powers, progress the first two fights and then when you are speaking with Ysabella, during the final dialogue where you have 4 options choose “I will gladly play my role. Just give me a name.”

What’s in the Box?
Destroy Prince Campbell by using Phyre against him.
Bronze
Story related, cannot be missed.

This is the eighth story related trophy, earned during main quest Service, Pride, and Dedication.

Keys to the City
Gain Permission to be in Seattle.
Bronze
Story related, cannot be missed.

This is the second story related trophy of the game, which is awarded after you speak with Lou Graham in main quest In Chains of Lead and Gold.

Lucid Dreaming
Walked the streets of Seattle in Fabien’s shoes.
Bronze
Story related, cannot be missed.

This is the fourth story related trophy of the game, which is awarded after you complete the first flashback section where you play as Fabian.

History Buff
Trigger every audio exhibit at the Seattle Underground Tour.
Bronze
MISSABLE

During main quest As Above, So Below you enter the Seattle Underground Tour area. In the initial part of this area when you are looking for Nix you walk through an underground tunnel and can trigger audio exhibits that give history about the Seattle Underground. There are 4 exhibits to trigger to earn the trophy, all along the main path.

The developers have stated that this should be fixed in the Halloween 2025 update and not require fully listening to the dialogue at each location, but if you activate them all and the trophy doesn’t unlock correctly try going back to each and waiting for the entire dialogue to finish before moving away to the next one.

Keep ‘Em Talking
Exhaust all the conversations at the 1925 New Year’s party.
Bronze
MISSABLE

During the second story section while playing as Fabien, once you enter a flashback you are told to walk around a new years party and speak with guests before speaking with Lou. You are required to at least interact with all guests before you can speak with Lou to progress, but for this trophy you need to make sure you fully exhaust all dialogue options with each of the guests you can interact with. The four guests you need to speak to are:

  • Isaac
  • Fletcher
  • Hector
  • Safia and Gideon (standing together as one interaction)

The main thing to keep in mind while working on this is some people will gain more conversation options after you speak to others. After exhausting dialogue with Hector he will tell you to ask something new of Isaac, which you can’t ask him about until you speak to Hector. Hector will also have new dialogue after speaking with Safia and Gideon. After speaking with all guests you will be prompted to go upstairs to speak with Lou, but you can still continue talking to the guests at this point. The trophy will unlock immediately once you have exhausted all dialogue with each of the guests.

Visionary Detective
Use every Malkavian ability successfully.
Bronze
Story related, cannot be missed.

Malkavian ability are the ones that you have access to while playing as Fabian during his story sections. You are required to use all four to progress during his initial story section, so you will earn this trophy automatically early in the game.

A Nice Cool Drink
Feed on all humans with Phlegmatic Blood Resonance.
Bronze
MISSABLE

Humans with Phlegmatic Blood Resonance are only present during Fabian’s story sections, and are all marked on the map immediately. There are 6 total, and the markers for them stay on the map, as they are used to replenish Fabian’s ability charges. You can not feed on someone if you have full charge on his abilities, so you will need to remember which you have already fed on and go to a new one each time you use an ability. If you are specifically going to new ones after each ability usage you can feed on all 6 during the second Fabien section during the story.

Shadows & Silk DLC

Shadows & Silk DLC is available at the time of the game’s launch and contains 13 trophies (13 Bronze).

The Shadows Prevail
Complete the game as an Elder of the Lasombra.
Bronze
This trophy is awarded for completing the game as an Elder of the Lasombra clan.
The Rose Bites Deep
Complete the game as an Elder of the Toreador.
Bronze
This trophy is awarded for completing the game as an Elder of the Toreador clan.
Love Me!
Use Entrancing Kiss on 5 Thin-blood vampires.
Bronze
Entrancing Kiss is an ability of the Toreador Clan, whose contact is Patience at Aurora Pawn. Entrancing Kiss compels an enemy to fight for you for a short period after you use it on them, attacking other enemies until the effect wears off. To earn this trophy, you must use it on 5 Thin-blood vampires during a playthrough. Thin-blood vampires are the stronger ones that will appear throughout the game, starting with the big tall enemies, and later in the game the ones that dual wield guns or turn invisible.
The Benefits of Office
Have all 6 Clan Perks active at once.
Bronze
MISSABLE

This trophy is awarded for having all 6 Clan Perks active during a single playthrough. Clan Perks are at the abilities on the top row of the ability tree, and to make them available to unlock with ability points you must unlock all other abilities with Blood Resonance from each of the clan contacts. You don’t need to unlock all abilities with ability points, only make them available by unlocking them in the ability tree with resonance points. Unlocking all abilities from clan contacts will require around 2500 – 3500 total of each type of Blood Resonance to unlock (the amount required for each ability is different depending on what Clan you are in your current playthrough). It is recommended you go for this in your 100% first playthrough where you are doing all side quests, as completing the objective for Mrs. Thorn will award you with 500 – 1000 Blood Resonance after each completion, meaning you don’t need to go out of your way to farm citizens with Blood Resonance to reach the required amounts on their own. Once you have unlocked all abilities through the clan contacts you can unlock the top row perks for ability points, and once you have all 6 equipped you will earn this trophy.

Now You See Me…
Use Shadow Step to get behind someone that you have commanded with Beckon.
Bronze
Shadow Step is an ability of the Lasombra clan whose contact is Onda at Glacier Hotel, and Beckon is an ability of the Toreador Clan whose contact is Patience at Aurora Pawn. Beckon is a ranged ability that will compel an enemy to walk toward the location you were when you used the ability, while Shadow Step will cause you to teleport behind an enemy you are targeting. Use Beckon immediately followed by Shadow Step on an enemy to earn this trophy.
Hot Lips
Use Entrancing Kiss on someone under the influence of Cauldron of Blood.
Bronze
Entrancing Kiss is an ability of the Toreador Clan whose contact is Patience at Aurora Pawn, and Cauldron of Blood is an ability of the Tremere Clan whose contact is Mrs. Thorn at Wake the Dead. To earn this trophy you must first use Cauldron of Blood on an enemy to cause them to start screaming, then immediately use Entrancing Kiss.
Set ‘Em Up, Knock ‘Em Down
Use Charge to take down two or more enemies that are held in place by Arms of Ahriman.
Bronze
Charge is an ability of the Brujah clan whose contact is Silky at The Dutchman, while Arms of Ahriman is an ability of the Lasombra clan whose Contact is Onda at Glacier Hotel. Arms of Ahriman allows you to hold enemies in place in front of you for a short duration. You need to hit and hold at least two enemies (though three makes this easier) then use Charge to run into at least two of the enemies who are currently held in place before the ability wears off.
Unoriginal Sin
While dressed as the Priest, persuade 5 citizens of Sanguine Blood Resonance to let you drink.
Bronze
Priest is the outfit obtained from unlocking the Lasombra Clan ability Enter Oblivion. You don’t need to learn this ability with ability points, only unlock it from Onda the Clan contact with Blood Resonance points to unlock the outfit if you aren’t currently in a playthrough where you started as Lasombra. Once you unlock it, equip it and then persuade 5 citizens with Sanguine (pink) Blood Resonance to let you drink their blood to earn this trophy. Typically you can pick the “I can see your heart” dialogue to convince them, then lead them into an alleyway to do so without being noticed.
Run Rabbit, Run Rabbit, Run, Run, RUN!
Use Blink to exterminate someone of Melancholic Blood Resonance.
Bronze
Blink is an ability of the Toreador Clan, whose contact is Patience at Aurora Pawn. Blink allows you to instantly move to the nearby position that you aim at when triggered. While exploring the city, use Blink to move into the location of a civilian with Melancholic (purple) Blood Resonance to instantly kill them and earn this trophy.
The Serenity of Shadows
Draw 5 unarmed enemies into Oblivion.
Bronze
Enter Oblivion is an ability of the Lasombra clan, whose contact is Onda at Glacier Hotel. Enter Oblivion causes all enemies in front of you when you cast it to enter a shadow dimension only you and them are present.

There are effectively no locations where you can organically earn this during a playthrough because of how infrequently unarmed enemies appear, so you will need to go out of your way to earn this. To do this, you will want to also learn the Ventrue ability Mass Manipulation, and the Brujah ability Taunt, along with having 2 Blood Elixirs. Taunt causes enemies to drop their weapons when you use it on them, so combined with Mass Manipulation this will allow you to Taunt a group of 5 enemies at once and cause them to drop their weapons. You will then need to pause and enter the ability tree and switch back to Enter Oblivion, then use 2 Blood Elixirs to replenish your blood points to make Enter Oblivion usable. Position all enemies in front of you and use Enter Oblivion to hopefully pull 5 into the shadow dimension. If this worked correctly the trophy will unlock immediately, if not you can restart your most recent checkpoint and try again.

A Moment of Patience
Drink blood directly from Patience’s veins.
Bronze
MISSABLE

See :bronze: Blood Betrothal.

A Gauntlet Laid Down
Drink blood directly from Onda’s veins.
Bronze
MISSABLE

See :bronze: Blood Betrothal.

To End in Oblivion
Pull at least 3 enemies into Oblivion and end their existence.
Bronze
For this trophy you need to kill at least 3 enemies while in one instance of Enter Oblivion. Once you enter the shadow dimension with the enemies you will stay their for 20 – 30 seconds as long as you don’t cancel it by activating the ability again, so you can chase down any enemies you’ve brought in with you and take them out to earn this trophy.

So is this game that bad as some reviews covering?

I think some of the reviews were pretty harsh, I’ve really enjoyed it. It obviously does have some problems due to the shaky development history and it’s not anything like the first game for people who were wanting that out of it.

It’s pretty good in Performance mode.. It does have the current standard UE5 traversal hitching though, which I’m basically just used to at this point.

Thank you for the trophy guide. It didn’t initially seem like Bloodlines 2 was going to get a trophy guide on this website, so I’m glad it did. However, even though I was excited for this game when it was announced in 2019, I’ve lost most of my interest in ever playing this game because of how different it is from the previous version version shown (lack of permanent weapons/inventory and not being an in-depth RPG). Also, even if I was interested in this version, I really don’t want to do 6 playthroughs for the Platinum trophy (especially when you’re forced to play as the other character in flashbacks again and again).

Is there a specific spot to do the 75m glide? And a good place to grind out the 1000 meter one?

There isn’t really a specifically tall building in this game, so you can do the 75m one from most of the taller buildings around the city as long as you jump and then glide all the way to ground level. You can do the 1000 meter at any point by just jumping and gliding between buildings.

My 1000m seems bugged. The tracker is stuck at 27%

So for the difficulty trophy, can I play on Easy until A Work of Holy Innocents and then switch back to Easy after the fight or play on Normal for the first playthrough?

You should be able to switch to normal just for that quest, then switch back to easy after.

I have found a very, very easy and fast spot to do Chain Lighting – To Founder on the Lethe, In Willem’s mind, there is a part of the quest where it just says Find William and you will enter the warehouse with 7-8 mannequins whose health bar is so low it doesn’t need dropping it down, mark and kill 5 of them. If you fail, let the rest of them kill you (takes some time, they deal very little dmg) so rinse and repeat. It took me like 4-5 tries since the marking system is not the best one, but this method works like a charm.

“The Serenity of Shadows” Achievement, Can easily be obtained by going around looking for “Pink resonance” Civilians, and selecting “Let us make something beautiful” and, get 3 of them to follow you at once (I didn’t test if you can have more than 3 civs follow you at the same time), and find two ideal civs and group them together and activate “Oblivion”, if you got 5 or more civs into the “Oblivion” the Trophy/Achievement should pop. Make sure difficulty is at least on Easy.

Quite a few of the combat trophies can be obtained on civs as well. Like, “Run Rabbit, Run Rabbit, Run, Run, RUN!”, “Hot lips”, “Now you see me”. Those was the ones i did, maybe there’s others you can do.

I found a easy way to unlock “The Serenity of Shadows”, Trophy.

Go around and look for 3 “Pink” colored civs and choose “Let us make something beautiful”, and get them to follow you. Once, you have 3 following you(you might be able to do more), and find two stationary civs, group them all up and activate “Enter Oblivion” ability, and if you got all 5, the trophy will pop.

You can unlock multiple combat related trophies on civs.
