Introduction
Welcome to the Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 Trophy Guide! Bloodlines 2 is the long in development sequel to the cult classic Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines originally released on PC in 2004. Bloodlines 2 is not very much of a sequel to the first game, playing like a more modern open world action game with heavy emphasis on the main plotline without much extra to do in terms of side activities outside of three collectibles sets and three sidequest chains that don’t have any bearing on the main plot.
Trophy-wise the game requires a total of 6 playthroughs if you want to earn all trophies including the Shadows & Silk DLC (automatically included with the base game in a separate DLC trophy set). Each Elder clan has an associated trophy for completing the game as it, which is a choice you make at the start of the game after the tutorial and cannot be changed. There are also 6 individual ending trophies, so you will need to make sure you earn a different ending on all 6 of the required playthroughs. You will need to do at least one playthrough where you 100% complete the game, collecting all collectibles and unlocking all skills from the clan contacts so that you can learn all 6 perks at the top of the ability tree in one playthrough (required for a DLC trophy).
Most trophies aside from the story-related ones are missable as there isn’t any post story free-roam, but due to the required number of playthroughs you can work on each of the combat trophies in separate playthroughs, and don’t need to grind to unlock all possible skills with ability points in one playthrough. Combat trophies require you to be playing on at least East difficulty, but you can lower the difficulty at any time in the settings menu if you aren’t working on combat trophies. You can check the list below the roadmap for specific spots during the story where there are large groups of enemies to earn the combat trophies, which is easier than trying to earn the large group related ones on enemies around the city. Work on one ending each playthrough and do the 100% completion on any of these playthroughs.
Step 1: 100% Playthrough
BUGGED TROPHY WARNING: Currently
Frequent Flyer &
Wings of the Night can glitch for players and won’t unlock for unknown reasons. If this happens there is no currently confirmed fix to earn them. Try to earn this trophies immediately on your first playthrough as soon as you have access to the open world to avoid this.
The first step will be to do a 100% completion playthrough, finding all collectibles and unlocking all skills from the clan contacts. Complete the side quests that appear each day before progressing as these give more XP and Blood Resonance for unlocking skills. The game will warn you if you are missing any before entering key locations or resting at Haven. Don’t immediately spend all of your ability points on new abilities, instead prioritize unlocking all of the top row Perks to earn
The Benefits of Office, as it isn’t possible to learn all possible abilities in one playthrough unless you wanted to spend excessive hours grinding open world enemies unnecessarily.
During this playthrough it’s recommended you complete the A City of Kinship ending to avoid doing extra work in new playthroughs. This ending involves completing the quests for the Clan contacts for the possibility of them taking over as Prince (it’s recommended to do this with Mrs. Thorn). If you missed this in first playthrough its not a lot of extra work to do just Mrs. Thorn’s quests again in a new playthrough, but you can save yourself a bit of time if you don’t care about doing a playthrough where you earn an ending on your own first.
You can play as whichever clan you want during each playthrough, but double check which ability trophies you can earn with your unlocked abilities and work on those. Refer to the story locations list at the bottom of the Roadmap for easy locations to earn combat trophies.
During the main quest A Work of Holy Innocents that occurs around 1/3 into the game, make sure to switch your difficulty to Normal and don’t unlock your powers to earn the only trophy that requires playing above Easy difficulty:
A Diva Defeated. This can be done on any playthrough, but you’ll likely have more health in this first playthrough from working on the side quests and unlocking abilities, so it’s slightly easier now instead of later.
You will need to find the following collectibles, each gives a trophy:
Step 2: Remaining Endings with each Clan Elder while earning Combat Trophies
After your first playthrough, you will have 5 playthroughs remaining to earn the other Clan Elder trophies, along with the remaining 5 endings. Follow the Endings Guide for the remaining endings you are missing. Also check which combat-related trophies you are still missing and prioritize the ones related to your chosen Clan on each playthrough. Your chosen clan requires much lower ability point amounts to unlock skills, instead of needing to go out of your way to grind Blood Resonance for a high cost skills later.
You can drop the difficulty to Casual outside of when you are trying to earn the combat trophies, then if you have obtained them all before you are done with the 6 playthroughs, you can stay on Casual difficulty permanently to speedrun the game. A playthrough where you are on Casual difficulty only completing main story objectives should take around 5 – 8 hours depending on how fast you can be.
On repeat playthroughs you can skip unnecessary objectives in Fabien’s sections. The two biggest timesavers are in the 2nd section you can go immediately to the construction site and pick up the photographs to show Silky, and in the 6th section you can go straight to Katsumi after looking at the book in Campbell’s office without going to the other objectives. Dialogue choices in Fabien’s section don’t matter outside of when you are required to do specific ones to progress, so you can generally keep pressing left on the dpad which selects the first dialogue and then skip through lines.

Love Me! Use Entrancing Kiss on 5 Thin-blood vampires. |
|
| Entrancing Kiss is an ability of the Toreador Clan, whose contact is Patience at Aurora Pawn. Entrancing Kiss compels an enemy to fight for you for a short period after you use it on them, attacking other enemies until the effect wears off. To earn this trophy, you must use it on 5 Thin-blood vampires during a playthrough. Thin-blood vampires are the stronger ones that will appear throughout the game, starting with the big tall enemies, and later in the game the ones that dual wield guns or turn invisible. | ||

The Benefits of Office Have all 6 Clan Perks active at once. |
|
| MISSABLE
This trophy is awarded for having all 6 Clan Perks active during a single playthrough. Clan Perks are at the abilities on the top row of the ability tree, and to make them available to unlock with ability points you must unlock all other abilities with Blood Resonance from each of the clan contacts. You don’t need to unlock all abilities with ability points, only make them available by unlocking them in the ability tree with resonance points. Unlocking all abilities from clan contacts will require around 2500 – 3500 total of each type of Blood Resonance to unlock (the amount required for each ability is different depending on what Clan you are in your current playthrough). It is recommended you go for this in your 100% first playthrough where you are doing all side quests, as completing the objective for Mrs. Thorn will award you with 500 – 1000 Blood Resonance after each completion, meaning you don’t need to go out of your way to farm citizens with Blood Resonance to reach the required amounts on their own. Once you have unlocked all abilities through the clan contacts you can unlock the top row perks for ability points, and once you have all 6 equipped you will earn this trophy. |

Now You See Me… Use Shadow Step to get behind someone that you have commanded with Beckon. |
|
| Shadow Step is an ability of the Lasombra clan whose contact is Onda at Glacier Hotel, and Beckon is an ability of the Toreador Clan whose contact is Patience at Aurora Pawn. Beckon is a ranged ability that will compel an enemy to walk toward the location you were when you used the ability, while Shadow Step will cause you to teleport behind an enemy you are targeting. Use Beckon immediately followed by Shadow Step on an enemy to earn this trophy. | ||

Hot Lips Use Entrancing Kiss on someone under the influence of Cauldron of Blood. |
|
| Entrancing Kiss is an ability of the Toreador Clan whose contact is Patience at Aurora Pawn, and Cauldron of Blood is an ability of the Tremere Clan whose contact is Mrs. Thorn at Wake the Dead. To earn this trophy you must first use Cauldron of Blood on an enemy to cause them to start screaming, then immediately use Entrancing Kiss. | ||

Set ‘Em Up, Knock ‘Em Down Use Charge to take down two or more enemies that are held in place by Arms of Ahriman. |
|
| Charge is an ability of the Brujah clan whose contact is Silky at The Dutchman, while Arms of Ahriman is an ability of the Lasombra clan whose Contact is Onda at Glacier Hotel. Arms of Ahriman allows you to hold enemies in place in front of you for a short duration. You need to hit and hold at least two enemies (though three makes this easier) then use Charge to run into at least two of the enemies who are currently held in place before the ability wears off. | ||

Unoriginal Sin While dressed as the Priest, persuade 5 citizens of Sanguine Blood Resonance to let you drink. |
|
| Priest is the outfit obtained from unlocking the Lasombra Clan ability Enter Oblivion. You don’t need to learn this ability with ability points, only unlock it from Onda the Clan contact with Blood Resonance points to unlock the outfit if you aren’t currently in a playthrough where you started as Lasombra. Once you unlock it, equip it and then persuade 5 citizens with Sanguine (pink) Blood Resonance to let you drink their blood to earn this trophy. Typically you can pick the “I can see your heart” dialogue to convince them, then lead them into an alleyway to do so without being noticed. | ||

Run Rabbit, Run Rabbit, Run, Run, RUN! Use Blink to exterminate someone of Melancholic Blood Resonance. |
|
| Blink is an ability of the Toreador Clan, whose contact is Patience at Aurora Pawn. Blink allows you to instantly move to the nearby position that you aim at when triggered. While exploring the city, use Blink to move into the location of a civilian with Melancholic (purple) Blood Resonance to instantly kill them and earn this trophy. | ||

The Serenity of Shadows Draw 5 unarmed enemies into Oblivion. |
|
| Enter Oblivion is an ability of the Lasombra clan, whose contact is Onda at Glacier Hotel. Enter Oblivion causes all enemies in front of you when you cast it to enter a shadow dimension only you and them are present.
There are effectively no locations where you can organically earn this during a playthrough because of how infrequently unarmed enemies appear, so you will need to go out of your way to earn this. To do this, you will want to also learn the Ventrue ability Mass Manipulation, and the Brujah ability Taunt, along with having 2 Blood Elixirs. Taunt causes enemies to drop their weapons when you use it on them, so combined with Mass Manipulation this will allow you to Taunt a group of 5 enemies at once and cause them to drop their weapons. You will then need to pause and enter the ability tree and switch back to Enter Oblivion, then use 2 Blood Elixirs to replenish your blood points to make Enter Oblivion usable. Position all enemies in front of you and use Enter Oblivion to hopefully pull 5 into the shadow dimension. If this worked correctly the trophy will unlock immediately, if not you can restart your most recent checkpoint and try again. |

To End in Oblivion Pull at least 3 enemies into Oblivion and end their existence. |
|
| For this trophy you need to kill at least 3 enemies while in one instance of Enter Oblivion. Once you enter the shadow dimension with the enemies you will stay their for 20 – 30 seconds as long as you don’t cancel it by activating the ability again, so you can chase down any enemies you’ve brought in with you and take them out to earn this trophy. | ||

as well as with the enlarging of your crosshair when you are looking at them. Collecting a Codex entry gives 10 XP per item, so outside of earning these trophies they generally aren’t worth picking up on subsequent playthroughs.

Potency Elixirs you picked up and just keep attacking her for the duration to drop her health. After each of the first two health bars, she will jump away and you will be attacked by more weak enemies, then she will jump back in. If you don’t have 3 Potency Elixers to use in all three phases, use a
Fortitude Elixir in the final phase to boost your defence. Be aware in the second and third phase she will start blocking and dodging more actively, so if you aren’t doing any damage use a heavy attack to stun her first. In the third phase some more of the weak enemies will keep appearing, but they do very little damage so you can mostly ignore them and focus on Ysabella. Once you defeat her, the trophy unlocks once the cutscene moves to Weaver Tower.

Travis says
So is this game that bad as some reviews covering?
Gage says
I think some of the reviews were pretty harsh, I’ve really enjoyed it. It obviously does have some problems due to the shaky development history and it’s not anything like the first game for people who were wanting that out of it.
Alex says
I also like it. That is why I never watch reviews.
Powerfrix says
How does it run on ps5 pro?
Gage says
It’s pretty good in Performance mode.. It does have the current standard UE5 traversal hitching though, which I’m basically just used to at this point.

Thank you for the trophy guide. It didn’t initially seem like Bloodlines 2 was going to get a trophy guide on this website, so I’m glad it did. However, even though I was excited for this game when it was announced in 2019, I’ve lost most of my interest in ever playing this game because of how different it is from the previous version version shown (lack of permanent weapons/inventory and not being an in-depth RPG). Also, even if I was interested in this version, I really don’t want to do 6 playthroughs for the Platinum trophy (especially when you’re forced to play as the other character in flashbacks again and again).
undrtaker says
ok, thx for letting everyone know
Martin says
Is there a specific spot to do the 75m glide? And a good place to grind out the 1000 meter one?
Gage says
There isn’t really a specifically tall building in this game, so you can do the 75m one from most of the taller buildings around the city as long as you jump and then glide all the way to ground level. You can do the 1000 meter at any point by just jumping and gliding between buildings.
Martin says
My 1000m seems bugged. The tracker is stuck at 27%
DJ says
So for the difficulty trophy, can I play on Easy until A Work of Holy Innocents and then switch back to Easy after the fight or play on Normal for the first playthrough?
Gage says
You should be able to switch to normal just for that quest, then switch back to easy after.
Rocky_balboa83 says
I have found a very, very easy and fast spot to do Chain Lighting – To Founder on the Lethe, In Willem’s mind, there is a part of the quest where it just says Find William and you will enter the warehouse with 7-8 mannequins whose health bar is so low it doesn’t need dropping it down, mark and kill 5 of them. If you fail, let the rest of them kill you (takes some time, they deal very little dmg) so rinse and repeat. It took me like 4-5 tries since the marking system is not the best one, but this method works like a charm.

“The Serenity of Shadows” Achievement, Can easily be obtained by going around looking for “Pink resonance” Civilians, and selecting “Let us make something beautiful” and, get 3 of them to follow you at once (I didn’t test if you can have more than 3 civs follow you at the same time), and find two ideal civs and group them together and activate “Oblivion”, if you got 5 or more civs into the “Oblivion” the Trophy/Achievement should pop. Make sure difficulty is at least on Easy.
Quite a few of the combat trophies can be obtained on civs as well. Like, “Run Rabbit, Run Rabbit, Run, Run, RUN!”, “Hot lips”, “Now you see me”. Those was the ones i did, maybe there’s others you can do.
Born Twizted says
I found a easy way to unlock “The Serenity of Shadows”, Trophy.
Go around and look for 3 “Pink” colored civs and choose “Let us make something beautiful”, and get them to follow you. Once, you have 3 following you(you might be able to do more), and find two stationary civs, group them all up and activate “Enter Oblivion” ability, and if you got all 5, the trophy will pop.
You can unlock multiple combat related trophies on civs.
