The Everstone in Pokemon Sword & Shield is used to stop Pokemon from evolving. This guide shows where to find the Everstone Location in Pokemon Sword and Shield.
Everstone Location:
- You find “Everstone” in Turffield (where the first Pokemon Gym is). From the Turffield Pokemon Center, head to the right side and there will be a slope going downhill. Follow the slope down the hill and take the next left turn. A glimmering item on the floor contains the Everstone.
- An efficient way to get infinite Everstones is by farming Roggenrola & Boldore. They each have a 50% Chance to carry an Everstone. Just keep catching them over and over again and you can get as many Everstones as you like.
Everstone Usage:
The only use of Everstone is to keep Pokemon from evolving. If for some reason you don’t want a Pokemon to trigger its evolution, you must equip it with the Everstone and it will forever stay in the same evolution stage.
That’s all there is to finding the secret Everstone in Pokemon Sword and Shield, enjoy!

Craig says
You forgot that if one pokemon in the daycare holds an everstone theres a 50% chance of passing on its nature.
Giorno Giovanna says
No, 100% chance. It always passes it’s nature with an everstone. I have 3 boxes full of pokémon with the same nature right now, it can’t be 1/2 chance.
Nuclear says
It also works to breed alternate forms of a Pokémon. Say I want to breed alolan vulpix in Galar, I will give my alolan vulpix an everstone and then put it in the nursery with a ditto or another alolan vulpix
G says
Only thing is if you want to breed a competitive Vulpix, you’ll need a nature mint if the alolan Vulpix is the wrong nature.
