God of War (2018): All Blades Pommels

Blades Pommels are an attachment to your second weapon, the Blades of Chaos, and increase certain stats. More than that, they also add unique passive perks that can change the flow of combat. Each pommel visually changes the design of your blades of chaos. Knowing what blade pommels are in the game and what abilities they unlock can help you prepare and strategize for difficult encounters.

The blades of Chaos are automatically unlocked during the story and cannot be missed.

Blade Pommels are obtained from quests, from certain chests, bosses, and mostly through crafting. All the epic ones (the best in the game) are from completion-based tasks later in the game. This list is in order of rarity.

Common Blade Pommels:

Wooden Blade Grips (Level 4 – 8 Strength): Spartan’s Heritage, Crude wooden blade grips.

Rare Blade Pommels:

Deadly Grips of Fury (Level 4 – 12 Strength, 6 Runic): Slayer’s Rage Burst, Low Perk activation chance to grant a Rage Burst on any successful hit.
Deadly War Handles (Level 4 – 10 Strength, 6 Runic, 10 Luck): Slayer’s Strength, Low Perk activation chance to grant a Gift of STRENGTH on any successful kill.
Precision Recovery Handles (Level 4 – 8 Strength, 8 Cooldown): Piercing Cooldown, Moderate Perk activation chance to grant a Blessing of COOLDOWN on successfully landing Spear of Chaos on an airborne enemy.
Precision Grips of Fortification (Level 4 – 8 Strength, 8 Defence): Piercing Defence, Moderate Perk activation chance to grant a Gift of DEFENCE on successfully landing SPear of Chaos on an airborne enemy.
Precision War Handles (Level 4 – 12 Strength, 6 Luck): Piercing Strength, Moderate Perk activation chance to grant a Gift of STRENGTH on successfully landing Spear of Chaos on an airborne enemy.
Deadly Recovery Handles (Level 4 – 8 Strength, 8 Cooldown): Slayer’s Cooldown, Low Perk activation chance to grant a Blessing of COOLDOWN on any successful kill.
Deadly Grips of Magic (Level 4 – 8 Strength, 10 Runic): Slayer’s Runic, Low Perk activation chance to grant a Blessing of RUNIC on any successful kill.

Weightless War Handles (Level 5 – 10 Strength, 13 Luck): Rising Strength, Moderate Perk activation chance to grant a Gift of STRENGTH on successfully landing Rising Fury on an enemy.
Weightless Grips of Protection (Level 5 – 10 Strength, 10 Defence): Rising Protective Barrier, Moderate Perk activation chance to grant Protective Barrier, preventing damage from enemy attacks, on successfully landing Rising Fury on an enemy.
Deadly Grips of Vitality (Level 5 – 8 Strength, 10 Vitality): Slayer’s Health Burst, Low Perk activation chance to grant a Health Burst on any successful kill.

Legendary Blade Pommels:

Grips of the Forgotten Flame (Level 4 – 8 Strength, 10 Vitality, 6 Luck): Aura of Fire, Moderate Perk activation chance to any successful hit to grant Aura of Fire, increasing STRENGTH and restoring a small amount of Health.
Explosive Grips of Fire (Level 5 – 10 Strength, 18 Luck): Flametongue, Low Perk activation chance to strike with a fiery explosion that inflicts BURN damage to all nearby enemies on any successful Blades hit.
Grips of Cursed Flame (Level 6 – 12 Strength, 15 Runic): Gift of Fire, Low Perk Activation chance to plant a 3-second delayed fire bomb on enemies on any successful Blades hit.

Epic Blade Pommels:

Blightguard (Level 6 – 12 Strength, 18 Defence, 8 Vitality): Explosive Blight, Low Perk activation chance to strike with an explosive curse that inflicts WEAKNESS to enemies on any successful hit.
Grips of the Valkyrie (Level 6 – 12 Strength, 10 Runic, 10 Cooldown): Power of the Valkyrie, Low Perk activation chance on any successful Blades hit to grant Power of the Valkyrie, increasing STRENGTH and RUNIC. (Stacks up to 3 times max.)
