Code Vein 2 is an open world game with a similar map structure to Elden Ring. The game features 3 endings but they are done in a fixed order within the same playthrough, so nothing is missable. To upgrade your healing charges you’ll need to find Golden Nectars and Golden Blood Beads. To unfog the map you must destroy all Map Jammers which are indicated by red circles on the map. After finishing the prologue island you can access to the motorcycle which lets you traverse the map quickly. You can also fast travel between so-called Mistles, which are essentially the rest points where you respawn and upgrade your levels. The story takes place across different timelines, and some items are only available within a certain timelime, but you can still clean up everything at the end of the game. The side quests consist of “Requests” by your NPC partners. Code Vein II takes roughly 60 hours to complete 100% and earn the platinum / 1000 Gamerscore.
