Introduction
Welcome to the Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster Trophy Guide! The Deluxe Remaster brings a sizeable chunk of updates and quality of life changes to the classic zombie sandbox. In terms of Platinum you will need to do mostly the same as required in the original game or the previous remaster like rescuing 50 Survivors, getting 53,594 Kills and surviving for 7 days in Infinity Mode, but the many changes will make this notably easier and faster to complete.
The noteworthy changes are as follows:
- Survivor AI is updated so they are more capable
- Kills, PP Stickers and Notebook Progress will carry over across playthroughs
- An unlockable Infinite Ammo/Durability magazine has been added
- In-game tracker for progress towards all trophies
- The game will autosave when transitioning between areas
- You can fast forward time at save locations
- Survivors and Psychopaths will appear on the map in Infinity Mode
- Infinity Mode will have a Suspend Save feature
(Optional) Step 1: Grind 53,594 Kills for Real Mega Buster Weapon
This is labeled as optional because while you will need to do the 53,594 kills regardless, with kills carrying across playthroughs you may opt to do this later. However it is still very beneficial to do this immediately, as getting the kills and getting an ending will unlock the Real Mega Buster, which is an extremely powerful weapon that will trivialize most encounters. This weapon has 300 ammo, kills regular zombies in one headshot, and can be picked up infinitely outside the Security Room on subsequent playthroughs. Not only that, but in the process you will get close to Level 50, which will give you a lot of stats and skills to make playing even easier.
A full playthrough of 3 days will take 6 hours (real time), and getting enough kills will take about 4 hours, so you can either spend the remaining 2 hours doing miscellaneous trophies like photographing all the PP stickers, or you can just fast forward time at a save point to end the playthrough faster. Refer to Zombie Annihilator for kill grinding methods.
If you want to play through the game as normally as possible you can keep this for last.
Step 2: Rescue 50 Survivors, True Ending
For this playthrough, complete all 8 Cases and ‘The Facts’ (Main Quests), then be at the Helipad above the Security Room at 12:00PM on September 22 (Day 4) to unlock Overtime Mode. Complete Overtime Mode and defeat the boss at the end to unlock the True Ending and Infinity Mode.
Throughout this playthrough rescue all possible Survivors and deal with all Psychopaths. Because of the 6-hour time limit per playthrough, it is recommended that you follow the All Survivors, Psychopaths, Calls Guide to ensure you don’t miss anything. To stay within the time limit it’s better to ignore the PP Stickers and Costumes for now and clean them up in the next run. Rescuing all 50 Survivors will unlock an Infinite Ammo/Durability Magazine.
Step 3: The Grateful Eight, Miscellaneous Trophies
The Grateful Eight will require you to escort 8 female survivors simultaneously. Due to there being a limit of 8 survivors spawned at once, this will require a specific set of actions to have 8 females spawned at the same time. This will take about a day in-game. Refer to The Grateful Eight .
Afterward clean up the PP Stickers, Costumes, and any miscellaneous trophies you have left.

» Costume Locations
Step 4: Infinity Mode
Infinity Mode unlocks when completing Overtime Mode. In this mode your health will slowly decrease over time and food spawns are limited. The goal is to survive for 7 days, but thankfully in the Deluxe Remaster this only takes about 90 minutes real-time opposed to 14 hours on the previous versions because you can fast-forward time at bathrooms. There is also Save Suspension so you can back up your Infinity Mode save if you desire, which makes it easier.

Zombie Annihilator Defeat at least 53,594 zombies. |

This may seem like a lot, but realistically it only takes about 4 hours to grind out all kills. Unlike previous Dead Rising games, these kills will track across playthroughs, so if you want you could save this grind until after doing everything else, but realistically you will only have a few thousand kills doing everything else so it’s not likely to make a huge difference.
Completing this and then finishing the current playthrough will unlock the “Real Mega Buster”, which is a powerful weapon capable of killing Psychopaths very quickly, and zombies/cultists/soldiers in a single shot to the head. It will spawn outside the Security Room by the wall and has 300 shots, and can be replaced every time you return. There are two main ways to grind kills: 1) The traditional method of driving in the Maintenance Tunnels; 2) using a Rocket Launcher with the Infinite Ammo Magazine in the caves at the end of Overtime Mode. The second method is one hour faster, but you will first need to rescue 50 Survivors to unlock the magazine, and you will need to play through Overtime Mode to reach the spot. Method 1 is recommended if you want to get access to the Real Mega Buster early as well as get to Level 50 early, while Method 2 is recommended if you want to minimize the grind and play through the game as normally as possible. Method 1: Maintenance Tunnels (4 Hours for all Kills, no preparation required) For this method, after you complete the intro you will want to head immediately to Leisure Park. In the northwest will be an alley that leads to a parking area, with a ramp down into the Maintenance Tunnels. In the parking area you will find a Red Convertible, and inside the tunnels you will find a Box Truck and White Sedan parked at different locations. The idea is to drive between each vehicle, grinding kills at the packed areas, then swapping vehicles when the previous one is either smoking or has blown up. The below map shows the cycle you want to take with this. The numbers are vehicles, and the colored boxes are the areas where you will want to grind kills with the respective vehicle.
Running each vehicle in these specific locations where the zombie packs are dense until the vehicles are either smoking or have blown up, you can expect 2,500 – 3,000 kills every cycle. Therefore it will take roughly 15 – 20 cycles to get all the kills. The map also shows the Maintenance Tunnel Key (4) which can be used to unlock the doors leading upstairs in each section of the tunnels. If you wish to make a backup save during this process, you can head upstairs near the White Sedan to find the Paradise Plaza bathrooms, but as the game will be autosaving every time you enter/leave the Maintenance Tunnels, this shouldn’t be necessary. Method 2: Overtime Mode Caves (3 Hours for all kills, requires some preparation) For this method, you will first want to rescue 50 Survivors and complete the game to unlock the Infinite Ammo/Durability Magazine in the Security Room. Next you will want to play through Overtime Mode, making sure to acquire a Rocket Launcher from one of the special forces soldiers. Once you reach the Point of No Return of Overtime Mode where you enter the caves with Isabela, simply go back and forth between two areas unloading your Infinite Rocket Launcher at zombies to rack up kills. The timer will stop at this point so you won’t be pressured for time at all, and once you are done you can quickly defeat the last boss to unlock the “Real Mega Buster”. You will get around 1,000 kills every 3 minutes. |
||
Self Defense Defeat at least 1 psychopath. |
||
See Punisher . | ||
Punisher Defeat at least 10 psychopaths. |
||
Missable!
There are 12 psychopaths in the game that count towards this, 10 of which are optional and 2 that are tied to Cases (story missions). » Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster All Survivors, Psychopaths, Calls Locations |
||
No, Thank You Defeat at least 100 cultists. |
||
Raincoat Cultists start spawning from 1:00PM September 20 (Day 1) after seeing their cutscene in Paradise Plaza, and will remain until 1:00PM the next day (or when you kill their leader Sean in A Strange Group scoop). During this time they will frequently spawn around the mall in large groups, particularly in Colby’s Movieland. Unlike zombie kills these will have to be done in the same playthrough. If you don’t manage to get this playing 72 Hour Mode, they spawn frequently in Infinity Mode from Day 4 onwards and are a good source of food drops so you will likely get this normally that way.
Legendary Soldier Defeat at least 10 special forces soldiers. |
||
See Karate Champ . | ||
Hella Copter Successfully repel a helicopter. |
||
The helicopter will appear in Leisure Park throughout Overtime Mode (see OVERTIME MODE ). It will do bombing runs where it flies in a straight line over your head shooting at you, which is the best time to shoot at it. If you have the Real Mega Buster, you can lead shots in front of it and it will destroy the helicopter in a single hit. Otherwise, use machine guns from the soldiers to unload on it until it blows up, or grab a sniper rifle from the gun store and try sniping the pilot. Unfortunately the helicopter has no health bar so you can’t see how much damage is done to it.
Tour Guide Escort 8 survivors at once. |

||
The Grateful Eight Simultaneously escort 8 female survivors. |
||
Missable!
This will need its own partial playthrough to complete, as you will need to kill survivors and go about a very specific set of actions in order to get 8 female survivors to spawn simultaneously, as only 8 survivors can be spawned in the mall at one time.
|
||
Full Set Collect all portraits in the NOTEBOOK. |
||
The Notebook has 78 portraits for every character you can meet in the regular 72 Hour Mode. These 78 include all survivors, psychopaths and people who die automatically and cannot be saved. These will track across all playthroughs. In order for the trophy to pop, you must look at Notebook > Survivors in your pause menu after getting them all.

See Saint . |
||
Saint Get at least 50 survivors out of the mall. |
||
Missable!
There are 48 survivors you can save + up to 4 story survivors depending on which ending you get. If you are going into Overtime Mode you will need to complete that for Isabela to count towards the total. This will have to be done in a single playthrough as it does not carry over. If you want to get the True Ending in the same playthrough, you cannot let any survivors die. If 1-2 survivors die, you will have to abandon the story by letting time expire before starting Case 7-1 to be able to escape with 50 survivors. » Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster All Survivors, Psychopaths, Calls Locations |

Photojournalist Take your first photograph. |
||
See The Artiste . | ||
The Artiste Score at least 10,000 PP from a single photo. |
||
Missable!
There are multiple opportunities to get these when rescuing survivors. Two good opportunities are during the Japanese Tourists scoop when Yuu and Shinji bow, and during the Restaurant Man scoop when Ronald cheers after eating his food. If you struggle to get this normally, there is an easier way to do it on Day 3. If you kill Kent Swanson during the Photographer’s Pride scoop at 12:00PM September 21, he will drop the Camera 2 Book, which increases PP from Photographs by +100%. With this you can simply take a 100% photo of a PP sticker for 10,000 PP. |
||
Group Photo Get 50 Target Markers with the camera. |
||
During the introduction where you’re in Entrance Plaza with 10 survivors, take a photo of the zombies behind the locked gate and you’ll easily capture 50. Other good places for this are in crowded areas of the Maintenance Tunnels, and the cave at the end of Overtime Mode.
Portraiture Photograph at least 10 survivors. |
||
Missable!
See Census Taker . |
||
Census Taker Photograph at least 30 survivors. |
||
Missable!
You will need to photograph 30 unique survivors for this. You can photograph them as you find them, but if you want you can simply wait until you’ve rescued 30+ and photograph them all at the Security Room. |
||
Psycho Photo Photograph at least 4 psychopaths. |
||
Missable!
When fighting psychopaths, make sure to photograph at least 4 of them. You don’t have to do it during the fight, you can take a photo of their dead bodies and it will count. The convicts and cultists will not count towards this. |
||
PP Photo Photograph 10 types of PP Stickers. |
||
See PP Collector . | ||
PP Collector Photograph all PP Stickers. |
||
There are 100 PP Stickers throughout the mall, which offer up to 5,000 PP upon photographing them. You can see a hint for each PP sticker in the photograph section of the pause menu. These will count across all playthroughs, so you don’t need to do them in one run. If the trophy doesn’t unlock immediately after the last one, then click on every PP sticker in the menu.
Sharp Dresser Change into at least 5 different costumes. |
||
See Clothes Horse . | ||
Clothes Horse Change into all costumes available in the mall. |
||
There are 46 costumes available to be found around the mall. These can be found in the various stores, and you can see where exactly each costume is located by checking the lockers in the Security Room. You only need to unlock the costumes found throughout the mall, you do not need to unlock those tied to challenges.
Juice Freak Create all types of mixed juice. |
||
Throughout the mall at food stores you will find blenders. These will let you combine two food items to create a mixed juice. There are 7 mixed juices to create. These will all have many possible combinations, so listed below are just the easiest combinations of foods you can typically find around food stores or the Food Court.
|
||
Item Smasher Break at least 30 items. |
||
Items you use for attacking can be broken by reducing their durability to zero. Most items will take multiple hits to break, so the best way to do this is with barrels. In the Food Court there is a large pyramid of barrels, as well as a scattering of barrels around the area. These will break after one hit on a zombie, so grab them and break them until the trophy pops.
Bullet Point Fire at least 300 bullets. |
||
Simply fire a total of 300 bullets across all guns.
Transmissionary Answer 30 calls. |
||
Missable!
As you play you will get calls from Otis (and later Isabela) for visiting areas for the first time, for optional Scoops and for story Cases. There are a total of 42 calls available and you only need 30, so you can afford to miss some of these. That being said, you will still want all related to optional survivors so that you can rescue them all for Saint . This needs to be done in a single playthrough as the calls do not carry over between playthroughs. » Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster All Survivors, Psychopaths, Calls Locations |
||
Road Rage Defeat at least 500 zombies with vehicles. |
||
This can be done easily by driving any of the vehicles in the Maintenance Tunnels. If you are using the Maintenance Tunnels method for grinding kills you will do this one hundredfold (see Zombie Annihilator for kill farming method).
Freefall Drop from a height of at least 16 feet (5 meters). |
||
Drop from any second floor balcony in the mall and you’ll get this.
Marathon Runner Cover a distance of 26.2 miles (42.195 km). |
||
42km sounds like a lot, but this should come naturally over the course of doing everything else. So don’t even worry about this, it will come naturally while working on other trophies. Distance only counts on foot, so any distance covered with cars, bikes or skateboards will not count towards this.
Strike! Send at least 5 zombies flying with one bowling ball. |
||
You will first need to get some bowling balls. These can be found at sports stores like SporTrance in Paradise Plaza. Grab multiple so you can have multiple attempts. Try to find a pack of zombies with at least 5 zombies in a row, then aim and bowl with + . If you manage to knock over 5 in one go you’ll get this.
Costume Party Place novelty masks on at least 10 zombies. |
||
Novelty Masks can be found in the kid stores around the mall. There are two in Paradise Plaza, so simply grab 10 masks and place them on zombies’ heads. They do not have to all be on simultaneously, as long as you place 10 you will get it.
Raining Zombies Knock at least 10 zombies aside with a parasol. |
||
Parasols are the large umbrellas that you can find at the tables in Al Fresca Plaza. Grab one and charge through zombies to knock them over. As long as you knock 10 over in total you will get this.
Rampage Defeat at least 100 enemies with a rocket launcher. |
||
Rocket Launchers are dropped by the Special Forces soldiers in Overtime Mode (see OVERTIME MODE ). Grab a handful of these before you go into the caves at the end of Overtime Mode and you’ll have hundreds of zombies to shoot with them.
Karate Champ Defeat at least 30 special forces barehanded. |
||
Special Forces start spawning throughout the mall from 12:00AM September 22 (Day 4) if you have completed all the Cases, and will be there throughout Overtime Mode as well (see OVERTIME MODE ). They will use machine guns and rocket launchers. The burst fire from their machine guns can easily stun lock you, especially when there are multiple soldiers around.
The best way to do this is by using either the Face Crusher skill ( + from behind, unlocked at level 36) or the Disembowel skill ( + from the front, unlocked at level 43), as these skills will instantly kill Special Forces. If you are too low-levelled to have these skills, you can instead get the Wrestling Magazine, which increases the effectiveness of Frank’s hand-to-hand attacks. This can be found in the Empty Shop next to Crislip’s Home Saloon after defeating Cliff during the Hatchet Man scoop. With the magazine in hand, try to find one or two soldiers and punch them constantly, rolling if they manage to stun lock you. |
||
Zombie Road Walk over 10 meters in total on the backs of zombies using the Zombie Ride. |
||
Zombie Ride is a skill you will unlock at Level 3. This allows Frank to jump onto the back of an unsuspecting zombie and walk across nearby zombies. Get behind a zombie and press to climb on. You will want an area where zombies are packed tight like the Maintenance Tunnels so you can climb across them. You don’t have to do 10 meters in one go, just overall.
Carjacker Steal the convicts’ vehicle. |
||
Missable!
The Convicts are psychopaths that spawn in Leisure Park at 6:00PM every night. They drive around in a military vehicle trying to shoot and run over you. Kill them all and get into their vehicle for this. |
||
Stunt Rider Jump a car or motorcycle at least 33 feet (10 meters). |
||
This is best done with a motorcycle in North Plaza. Either grab one from the parking area in Leisure Park and drive it over there, or wait until after the fight with Isabela in Case 4-1 and a motorcycle will spawn outside Seon’s Food & Stuff. With the motorcycle, ride over one of the ramps at speed and you should easily clear 10 meters.
Nice Shot! Send a golf ball flying for at least 100 meters. |
||
Golf Clubs can be found at sporting stores around the mall. Once you grab one, head outside to Leisure Park or Al Fresca Plaza and look up, then charge a shot with + . This should immediately clear 100 meters.
Never Give Up Restart from the first day with Frank’s current status. |
||
At any point you can start a new game using a previous save, which will carry over the levels, stats and any unlocks tied to that save file.
Mall Worker Find the secret passageway. |
||
Missable!
The secret passageway is found in Wonderland Plaza, and connects through to Paradise Plaza for a shortcut. This can be found during the Out of Control scoop (unlocked at 9:00PM on Day 1). Kill the psychopath Adam, then stop the Space Rider to rescue Greg. Speak to him and he will offer to show you the shortcut, simply follow him to the women’s bathroom to unlock this. |
||
Snuff Shot B Encounter zombie Brad. |
||
Missable!
Zombie Brad can be encountered after completing Case 7-2, where you find the 5 bombs in the Maintenance Tunnels. After seeing his fate in some cutscenes, head back into the Maintenance Tunnels and go towards the Maintenance Tunnel Warehouse where you will get another cutscene and this trophy. |
||
Snuff Shot J Encounter zombie Jessie. |
||
Missable!
Zombie Jessie can be encountered after completing The Facts: Memories. Head back towards the Security Room and you will get some cutscenes seeing her fate. Once you enter Security Room, you will get this trophy. |
||
Level Max Reach Lv. 50. |
||
Level 50 will require a total of 5,000,000 PP. You will get this naturally as you will get close to 10,000,000 PP doing everything in the game. Doing just the kill grind will get you close to Level 50 alone.
OVERTIME MODE Unveil all CASES and be at the heliport at noon. |
||
Missable!
The Cases are the story missions that you can progress across the three days. Complete all 8 Cases and The Facts, then make sure to be at the Heliport above the Security Room at 12:00PM on September 22 (Day 4) and you will unlock Overtime Mode. This will be a separate mode from the main menu, which your current save will automatically continue into. |
||
∞ MODE Get the true ending. |
||
Missable!
In order to get the True Ending, you must complete Overtime Mode and defeat the boss at the end. |
||
3 Day Survivor Survive for at least 72 hours. |
||
You will get this automatically upon completing the game once as the game lasts 72 hours (this counts in-game time, not real time).
5 Day Survivor Survive for at least 5 days. |
||
See 7 Day Survivor . | ||
7 Day Survivor Survive for at least 7 days. |
||
This can only be done on Infinity Mode, which will first require you to complete Overtime Mode to unlock. Infinity Mode is endless, and your health will decay over time, forcing you to constantly search for food. Food spawns are static and limited, spawning around the mall and dropping from survivors and psychopaths that will spawn periodically each day. Fortunately this is significantly easier than on previous versions, as with the ability to fast forward time at bathrooms you can complete this in roughly 90 minutes, as opposed to 14 hours previously. It is also made easier by the fact you can ‘Suspend Save’ at any moment, meaning you can back up your save file if you so desire.
Before you do this, it is recommended that you’ve completed both Saint and Zombie Annihilator , to have access to both the Infinite Ammo/Durability Magazine and the Real Mega Buster, as well as be Level 50 for maximum health and inventory capacity. Collect both of these from inside the Security Room, then you will want to find 3 Magazines to increase how much health the consumed food will heal:
With these three magazines, all food items will heal triple. Orange Juice, Milk, Coffee Creamer, Wine, Well Done Steak, and Golden Brown Pizza will all fully heal you. What you will want to do is fill your inventory with these desirable foods, then locate the nearest bathroom (the save icon won’t appear on your map, but you can still fast forward time at them all). Fast forward time until you’re on your last health bar, then eat some food and repeat until you are out of food. You will want to continue doing this, collecting all the good food in the mall and killing survivors/psychopaths you encounter for more food. Survivors/Psychopaths will appear on your map so you will know exactly where targets are. If you happen to get any Raw Meat or Uncooked Pizza from someone you kill, you can cook it in a microwave oven in Paradise Plaza, Al Fresca Plaza or the Food Court to make sure they don’t go off. Starting from Day 4, you will encounter Raincoat Cultists and Special Forces Soldiers. These can both potentially drop food so are worth killing, but be very careful around Special Forces as they can stun lock you with their machine guns. If you get stun locked and you think you might die, you can quickly pause and Suspend Save, then when you reload you’ll be at the entrance to the location you’re in allowing you to heal. If you manage to get your hands on a Heavy Machinegun, either from a crate drop or from the Convicts, it is worth carrying around as it will annihilate enemies. Below is a list of all the static full heal spawns found throughout the mall:

Only missed one survivor yet didn’t get the saint trophy
Archavia says
It appears Frank himself no longer counts as a survivor towards Saint (he did count on the original and previous remaster). I have edited the guides to reflect this, so all will be needed to survive if going for the True Ending.
Alig200 says
Do any of the special attacks such as Disembowel or Face Crusher etc which instant kill the Special Forces, count for the Karate Champ trophy? Or does it literally have to be barehanded fist attacks
Alig200 says
After further testing, they do count. You can just run upto whole groups of special forces and R1 + X from the front to Disembowel, or R1+X from the back to Face Crusher and they’ll instant kill whilst also give some i-frames.
Archavia says
Thanks for mentioning this, I honestly forgot about half of the skills you unlock and didn’t think to try these.
Connor says
The zombie farming in the tunnels seems a bit off, compared to the original there’s less, and they pop in the faster you go, hopefully this is fixed soon but is gonna make grinding the kills a little slower
Red says
I found running the stretch by the Moving truck to be the fastest way to accumulate kills. The zombies respawn in the top area near the truck as you move down the ramp. Do a U turn and head back up the ramp to where the truck was and clear the area and repeat.
Sean O says
You can literally just use the box truck. There’s a huge horde of zombies in this area that respawn, immediately after driving towards the tunnel. You can just enter the butcher’s room to respawn the truck. You can just drive through this horde over and over again. It’s tedious, but this is a tedious trophy and this way works.
Anonymous says
Thank you for the trophy guide. I’m glad they made it easier and quicker to earn the Infinity Mode trophy, but I don’t think I’ll end up playing this game, because as much as I enjoyed Dead Rising 2 back in the day, I now can’t be bothered dealing with the time limit and that many missable trophies when trying to earn the Platinum trophy (even though I know this is to be expected of Dead Rising).
Jerry says
I only miss 1 survivor and did not obtain the Saint trophy in true ending, which means if u insist on doing the true ending u have to save everybody to get the trophy, if not just try to skip 7-1 and get the last 2 survivors then skip to the ending.
Jace Tipton says
Not entirely sure how accurate this guide is in terms of following the survivors, calls and psychopath. More than 1 of my survivors began spawning a day earlier than what the guide says so they appear in different orders than the guide shows, makes it very difficult to know who I need to save next and exactly when as they spawn in different orders
Archavia says
The spawn times of survivors have not changed between the Original/Remaster and the Deluxe Remaster. I confirmed all the spawn times while writing the guide and corroborated it with the spawn times from previous versions to confirm it was accurate. The order of everything in the guide should be accurate as long as you’re not spending too much time in between doing other content.
Derek Fisher says
Regarding the Cop psychopath, I went and beat her but there’s only one survivor tied to a chair.
Did I go in that psychopath too early?
Delken says
Too late. If you enter Wonderland Plaza and leave at any time during her scoop, she will steadily eliminate survivors until there is only the one left, even if you haven’t directly entered her specific store. Could also just happen over time as well but never tested that, only tried on the original by going in during her scoop, leaving, and coming back later.
Haven’t tested in the remake but in the original when it happened for me it was either all 4 or just the 1.
Connor says
You got to her too late, if you leave and enter wonderland while the case is up she’ll kill more and more people
Delken says
For those worried about Saint not unlocking, if you get the True Ending in 72 Hour mode, it will only unlock after you complete overtime. If you rescue every available survivor you can in 72 Hour mode, you will have around 48-49 and only after Overtime when Frank and Isabella survive will you get to 50-51 (though I think you can actually get up to 53 depending on what ending you opt for, but this could also affect the trophy.)
It could possibly be glitched for some people, but I had it unlock after Overtime mode like the original. Just my experience though, and again, it could have issues for some people.
Jayne says
I also let one survivor die and did the true ending and the saint trophy didn’t pop
Jayne says
I used a save from day 2, still had one survivor die and got the rest of the survivors and let 7.1 case expire. Doing this helped me get the saint trophy without having to start from scratch
EticketJedi says
One important thing to note with Snuff Shot J is that it has a rather tight time window.
You have to get back to the security room before the special forces troops show up at midnight, otherwise she’ll be gone.
