This guide shows all Elden Ring Map Pieces Locations, needed to unfog the whole map. Each Map Piece uncovers more of the world map. All Maps are found at pillars along main roads. These are marked by a pillar icon on the fogged map too, making them easy to locate. You can set a waypoint marker on their location on the world map and follow the main roads to find them quickly.

Map: Limgrave, West
- Description – Map of the western region of Limgrave. The demesne of Limgrave, far south of the Erdtree, is bordered to the northwest by the cliffs of Stormveil, and under its ever-clouded skies roll the great steppes of the pale lands.
- Location – Limgrave: Gatefront Ruins – Sitting in front of the large stone slab in the direct center of the ruins.
Map: Limgrave, East
- Description – Map of the eastern region of Limgrave. Other than the Mistwood which envelopes the south, it is known for its lands which lead to Caelid, a path trod by many a soldier in the past.
- Location – Limgrave: Siofra River Well – Sitting in front of the large stone slab along the road west of Siofra River Well.
Map: Weeping Peninsula
- Description – Map of the Weeping Peninsula. The peninsula, to Limgrave’s south, is named for its unceasing rainfall, redolent of lament.
- Location – Weeping Penninsula: Castle Morne Rampart – Directly south of the site of grace along the path, watch out for the giant archer.
Map: Caelid
- Description – Map of Caelid and environs. Caelid, known as the locale of the last battle between General Radahn and Malenia. Blade of Miquella, is a vast land consummately marred by scarlet rot.
- Location – Caelid: Caelid Highway South – Sitting in front of large stone slab on south side of the road, east of site of grace.
Map: Dragonbarrow
- Description – Map of Dragonbarrow and environs. The dragons that escaped the scarlet rot made a nest iin the plateau of Caelid’s north. Thus it was named “Dragonbarrow,” and none dare to enter.
- Location – Greyoll’s Dragonbarrow: Dragonbarrow West – Immediately east of the site of grace, sitting in front of the large stone slab. See How to reach northern Caelid / Dragonbarrow.
Map: Liurnia, East
- Description – Map of Liurnia’s eastern region. The majority of Liunria, known for its vast forests and ever-present fog, is sinking into a lake. The eastern coast is home to a highroad running north and south.
- Location – Liurnia of the Lakes: Liurnia Lake Shore – Continue directly north along the path to find this map.
Map: Liunria, North
- Description – Map of Liurnia’s northern region. The Academy of Raya Lucaria towers over the north, while its at its base spreads the town built around it, now flooded. Two highroads end their journey here.
- Location – Liurnia of the Lakes: Academy Gate Town – The slab is directly beside this site of grace.
Map: Liurnia, West
- Description – Map of Liurnia’s western region. The majority of Liurnia, known for its vast forests and ever-present fog, is sinking into a lake. The western coast has always been closely associated with Carian royalty.
- Location – Liurnia of the Lakes: Northern Liurnia Lake Shore – The slab is directly north of this site of grace. This doesn’t show on the fogged map by default, only when getting close to it. It’s in the north-west edge of Liurnia of the Lakes (big flooded area).
Map: Siofra River
- Description – Map of Siofra River and environs. Two great rivers flow beneath the Lands Between, the Siofra and the Ainsel. This vast region is said to be the grave of civilizations that flourished before the Erdtree.
- Location – Siofra River Bank: From the Site of Grace look East and you will see a set of stairs to a ruined building. This map is on a body as the bottom of the stairs on the right pillar.
Map: Deeproot Depths
- Description – Map of Deeproot Depths and environs. At the very depths of the Erdtree’s majestic roots lies the source of the Ainsel and the Siofra rivers. Here too begins the network of Greattree roots that spread throughout the Lands Between.
- Location – Deeproot Depths: To access the Deeproot Depths you must enter the coffin in Nokron Eternal City: Great Waterfall Basin (after defeating Valiant Gargoyle boss). This will bring you to the Deeproot Depths area. Follow across the roots until you come to a gazebo, the map is found in that gazebo. This is below/before the “Across the Roots” site of grace.
Map: Ainsel River
- Description – Map of Ainsel River and environs. Two great rivers flow beneath the Lands Between, the Siofra and the Ainsel. This vast region is said to be the grave of civilizations that flourished before the Erdtree.
- Location – Ainsel River: Uhl Palace Ruins – Once inside the ruins press forward and there will be a spider hanging on a wall shooting you with magic. Keep cover and get underneath the spider and into the room below it. The map will be on a pillar to the right.
Map: Altus Plateau
- Description – Map of Atlus Plateau and environs. The Atlus Plateau, where the Erdtree’s base can be found, contains the Royal Capital of Leyndell to the east and Mt. Gelmir to the west. Scars from the Shattering remain apparent to this day.
- Location – Atlas Plateau: Atlas Highway Junction – Just north up the road from this site of grace you can the stone slab.
Map: Mt. Gelmir
- Description – Map of Mt. Gelmir and environs. Mt. Gelmir, which houses the Volcano Manor at its summit, is characterized by sheer cliffs and ominous skies. These qualities only became more pronounced after the Shattering.
- Location – Mt. Gelmir: Ninth Mt. Gelmir Campsite – First you will have to reach the mountaintop where the boss “Full-Grown Fallingstar Beast” is, after the site of grace “Ninth Mt. Gelmir Campsite”. You don’t have to kill the boss. To the right of the boss is a spike-shaped rock formation that you can ride over with your mount and jump over to the other side to get to volcano manor area. Instead of heading into volcano manor, head down the slope to the right before the manor and you’ll come to this map piece.
Map: Leyndell, Royal Capital
- Description – Map of Royal Capital of Leyndell and environs. Leyndell, City of the Erdtree, is a metropolis enclosed by double ramparts. The inner wall remains unbreached to this day.
- Location – Leyndell, Royal Capital: Outer Wall Phantom Tree – Right beside this site of grace there the stone slab with the map.
Map: Mountaintops of the Giants, West
- Description – Marching ground during the War against the Giants. They carved winding paths in the cliff walls right up to the summit, leading to the untrodden snow-laden region beyond.
- Location – Mountaintop the Giants, West: After defeating Shardbearer Margott in Leyndell the Royal Capital, you must open the big gate east of Avenue Balcony site of grace (east side of Royal Capital). This leads to an elevator, use the elevator and follow it until you get to another elevator that brings you to a snowy area called “Forbidden Lands”. At the end of the snowy area is yet another elevator called Grand Lift of Rold. Take this elevator and the map will be on the main path straight in front of you.
Map: Mountaintops of the Giants, East
- Description – The remote, desolate eastern summit is the highest point in all the Lands Between, overlooking even the Flame Peak to the south.
- Location – Mountaintop the Giants, East: Head to the far north-east of Mountaintops of the Giants, there you’ll find a big frozen lake, ride south there and follow the path south-west until you get to “Guardian’s Garrison” (old castle). From there you can ride across a long metal chain to the other side of the mountain where you’ll find the “Giant’s Gravepost” site of grace as well as the map piece.
Map: Consecrated Snowfield
- Description: The route through this land, crossed east to west by a frozen river, leads to Miquella’s Haligtree. This is the path taken by those unchosen, though it is a trial all the same.
- Location – Consecrated Snowfield: Inner Consecrated Snowfield – From the Site of Grace head North toward the giant dead tree. The map is on a shrine at the base of the tree.
Map: Mohgwyn Palace
- Description: In the lightless depths lies the grave is an ancient civilization. It is here Mohg, the Lord of Blood, is building his palace, to be the seat of his coming dynasty named Mohgwyn. And whatever nightmares that may bring.
- Location – Mohgwyn Palace: Dynasty Mausoleum Entrance – Right before you get to the Site of Grace on the stair level below it is this map on a body in the middle of the platform.
