Judgment – Skill Unlock Item Locations

In Judgment (Judge Eyes), some skills in the game aren’t available to purchase normally, you need to either scan QR Codes in the environment or purchase / find skill books, which then make the skills available for purchase. So this guide will show how to get all skill books and QR Code skills. There are 3 missable story-related skill books (Rush Training, Secret Technique: Reverse Beatdown, Secret Technique: Front Beatdown), they are found in main story locations that you can miss, but they are then sold for a high price by Onodera in the sewer after he becomes available later in the game. They have a fairly steep SP cost to buy from him so if possible you really want to get these during the story missions, either on your first playthrough or your LEGEND playthrough.

Story Location Skills

MISSABLE WARNING: the 3 skills in this category below can be missed during the story, but they will then be sold by Onodera in the sewer (for a high price).

Rush Training: Unlocks Double Quickstep for purchase
Chapter 1 – KJ Art – First to get this to show up you need to spot the man reading a book in the room while you’re flying your drone. Then when sneaking inside it’ll be on the fourth floor, through the door that requires the code 8919 to get through

Secret Technique: Reverse Beatdown – Unlocks EX Reverse Beatdown for purchase.
Chapter 6 – Inside Honmeuren – When you get to the red-carpeted hallway go to the first right locked door, then unlock the next door. The Book is on the floor in this room.

Secret Technique: Front Beatdown – Unlocks EX Front Beatdown for purchase.
Chapter 12 – Inside the Secret Lab in Monsieur Lee – On the second floor go down the right hallway and take the second door, the book is on the floor in this room.

Quickstarter Project Skills

Cipher Secrets: Mind over Matter – Unlocks Boost EX Gauge 1 skill for purchase 1,000 minimum, 100,000 total
Requires 100,000 Yen total contributed through Quickstarter, then is picked up from the mailbox beside your office.

Cipher Secrets: Brains over Brawn – Unlocks Heart of a Champion skill for purchase.
Project becomes available after funding Mind over Matter. Requires 100,000 Yen total contributed through Quickstarter, then is picked up from the mailbox beside your office.

QR Code Compendium: Electronic Eye – Unlocks the Code Hunter skill for purchase
Requires 200,000 Yen total contributed through Quickstarter, then is picked up from the mailbox beside your office.

Unofficial Dice and Cube Strategy Guide – Unlocks the High Roller skill for purchase
Requires 100,000 Yen total contributed through Quickstarter, then is picked up from the mailbox beside your office.

Unabridged Dice and Cube Strategy Guide – Unlocks the Elevated Roller skill for purchase
Project becomes available after funding Unofficial D&C Strategy Guide. Requires 200,000 Yen total contributed through Quickstarter, then is picked up from the mailbox beside your office.

Ultimate Dice and Cub Strategy Guide – Unlocks the Elevated Roller skill for purchase
Project becomes available after funding Unabridged D&C Strategy Guide. Requires 300,000 Yen total contributed through Quickstarter, then is picked up from the mailbox beside your office.

QR Code: Learn Remotely!: Outside Yagami Detective Agency – Unlocks skill EX Light Bullet for purchase
In the alley just South-West of the Detective Agency, it’s on the wall on a poster just past the car you have to climb over.

QR Code: Toraotoshi: In the square alleyway on the South-East end of Champion District – Unlocks skill Tiger Drop for purchase
On the South side of the alleyway area, up on the second floor window of the building. You have to snap a picture of this one with the drone, can’t do it with your phone camera.

QR Code: Ultimate King Tournament!: Second floor of the Taihei Commerce Building – Unlocks skill EX Tiger Dances With Crane for purchase
Head up the elevator that’s just to the right of the restaurant Gyu-Kaku on West Taihei Boulevard, it’s around the corner on the wall before you go into the office area.

QR Code: Hang in There!: Kamuro Theater Garden (Top floor of the Theater) – Unlocks skill Dire Determination for purchase
In the South-East corner of this floor, the poster is in the side hallway just beside the vending machine.

QR Code: Gotcha!: Yoshida Batting Center – Unlocks skill Blessing of the Wind God for purchase.
In the long hallway on the South side of the building, just before the openings that let you see into the cage area

Given when you complete Chaotic Challenge batting course (after completing all regular courses) started by speaking to Yoshida at the batting center

Spirit of Steel – Unlocks Resolute Counter for purchase
Middle Course: Challenge Rule – Reach the below marked safe picking spot, pick the safe, then reach the end of the course without running out of dice

Secret Technique: Running Palm Strike – Unlocks EX Running Palm Strike for purchase
Long Course: Normal Rule – Reach the below marked safe picking spot (warp between the two doors with the red line), pick the safe, then reach the end of the course without running out of dice

Secret Technique: Running Assault – Unlocks EX Running Assault for purchase
Long Course: Challenge Rule – Reach the below marked safe picking spot, pick the safe, then reach the end of the course without running out of dice
