Introduction

Welcome to the Lost Soul Aside Trophy Guide! What started as solo developer project back in 2014 finally sees the light of day in 2025. Platinum requires finding all collectibles, beating Nightmare difficulty, and beating bosses on Nightmare without using items. A minimum of 3 playthroughs will be needed because Hard difficulty is only unlocked after the first playthrough, and Nightmare is unlocked after the Hard playthrough. The same Trinket collectibles also have new versions on Hard/Nightmare difficulties so you’ll want to collect those again.

Step 1: Complete the game while getting all Collectibles

For your first playthrough, you’ll want to get used to the mechanics of the game while finding all the collectibles you can get during your Normal difficulty playthrough.

During this playthrough you should collect all of the following:

  • All 89 Documents to unlock :silver: Gethya’s Approval.
    • Some of these documents will unlock automatically while progressing through the story, but some of them you’ll need to pick up yourself.
  • Locate all 9 Dispersed Dimensions
    • You don’t need to complete all their bonus objectives when you find them. You can always complete them later on when you have better equipment.
  • Collect and craft all 11 Crafting Recipes
    • You’ll automatically start with 1. You’ll need to buy the other 10 from Claudian at the start of every main chapter.
  • Purchase all 6 Arena Powers available on Normal
    • On Normal Difficulty, you’ll only be able to purchase a total of 6 of the Arena Powers from Claudian. The rest will come from other means, such as the main story or rewards from Dispersed Dimensions/Boss Rush modes.
  • Collect the 41 Trinkets in Normal difficulty
    • This is excluding Trinkets rewarded for completing bonuses in the Dispersed Dimensions, as that can be done later on. Some will be awarded automatically during the story, but most will need to either be found or bought. These Trinkets are unique to Normal mode, so make sure you collect them as collecting them on higher difficulties will result in a different Trinket.

Follow Lost Soul Aside Collectible Guide to get everything.

Step 2: Dispersed Dimensions Cleanup + Normal Boss Rush

After finishing the game on Normal difficulty, you can load your clear save data and it will put you back at the Imperial City and you have access to the new Boss Rush mode.

Now that you have better equipment, you can clear the Dispersed Dimension challenges to get the Trinkets and Arena Powers that are locked behind them. This will also unlock :gold: Dispersed Dimension Master. Make sure you complete all 3 challenges for each Dispersed Dimension, not just the challenge that rewards you with the Trinket/Arena Power.

Afterward, you can clear all 8 Boss Rush challenges, making sure to complete them all within the time limit to complete the challenges for :silver: Ultimate Gifted One. This will also reward you with more Arena Powers, of which you should only be missing 2 at this point: 1 Mountain Break and 1 Cage of Despair, which will be gotten later.

Step 3: Complete the game on Hard difficulty

With everything on Normal completed and collected, you can talk to Liana and go to the Stage Selector menu. Press :r1: to change the difficulty to Hard and start from the Prologue. You’ll need to complete the game from start to finish to unlock :silver: Best-Selling Author Liana!, and also to unlock Nightmare difficulty. All your skills, equipment, and trophy progress will carry over, so it’s also a great time to collect anything you might have missed.

During this playthrough you should collect everything below:

  • Any documents you missed to unlock :silver: Gethya’s Approval.
    • Progress towards the documents carries over, so you don’t need to recollect any you’ve already collected.
  • Any of the Dispersed Dimensions you missed.
  • Purchase all unique items from the shops.
    • This includes all of the Lifeforce Shards as well. Once you’ve bought all the Trinkets, Arena Powers, Crafting Recipes, and Lifeforce Shards you should unlock :silver: Shopaholic. You’ll also be able to buy the last 2 Arena Powers from Claudian, which are unique to Hard Mode.
  • Recollect all the trinkets again.
    • On Hard Mode, the trinkets have a better version of them when found again, so make sure to recollect them all. If you missed any trinkets on Normal, you won’t be able to collect them here as you’ll only get the better versions.
  • Use your Sharp Alloys
    • Defeating bosses that would have given you a new weapon on Normal will now give you Sharp Alloys on Hard. You can use these to upgrade your weapons to Tier 2 at Liana’s Workshop.

Step 4: Complete Hard Boss Rush

After completing the game on Hard difficulty you’ll unlock the ability to do the Boss Rush mode on Hard. It’s the exact same as the Normal Boss Rush mode, but the bosses are the Hard Mode versions. Make sure you complete all 8 of them within the time limit to unlock :gold: Surpassing Seleria. This will also reward you with more Trinkets.

Step 5: Complete the game on Nightmare difficulty

With everything on Hard completed, you can talk to Liana and go to the Stage Selector menu. You can press :r1: to change the difficulty to Nightmare and start from the Prologue. Just like before, you need to complete the entire game on Nightmare from the start to unlock :gold: Ultimate Legend.

During this playthrough, you should collect and do everything below:

  • Unlike Normal and Hard, there are no trinkets to collect on Nightmare. If you missed any on either difficulty, you won’t be able to collect them here as you’ll just get a tier 3 weapon accessory instead. There is only 1 trinket to be collected on Nightmare and it’s given to you automatically.
  • Any documents you missed to unlock :silver: Gethya’s Approval.
    • Progress towards the documents carries over, so you don’t need to recollect any you’ve already collected.
  • Any of the Dispersed Dimensions you missed.
  • Use your Sharp Crystals
    • Just like on Hard, there is a unique material for Nightmare to upgrade your weapons to Tier 3. You’ll automatically be given the Sharp Crystals this time around so you can upgrade your weapons once you get to Liana. Once you’ve done this for all weapons, you’ll unlock :silver: Arsenal.
  • Defeat Victor without using any items to unlock :silver: Sanctified Sword.
    • Victor is encountered during Chapter 2 – Beside SkyMirror Lake. For more information on tactics, refer to :silver: Sanctified Sword.
  • Defeat Zana without using any items to unlock :silver: Hot Dance in Hot Spring.
    • Zana is encountered during Chapter 3 – Neverwind Monastery. For more information on tactics, refer to :silver: Hot Dance in Hot Spring
  • Defeat Aramon without using any items to unlock :silver: Cleaving the Cycle.
    • Aramon is encountered during Chapter 5 – Clash of Fates. For more information on tactics, refer to :silver: Cleaving the Cycle.

(Optional) Step 6: Trophy Cleanup

With all 3 difficulties completed, you can now freely use chapter select across all 3 difficulties to get anything you might have missed along the way.

Ultimate Gifted One

Silver
Boss Rush unlocks after completing the game for the first time. You can talk to Liana and go to the Dispersed Dimension tab and press :r2: to change over to Boss Rush.

There are a total of 8 Boss Rush modes, most of them requiring you to fight 3 bosses back to back, with the exception of the last 2 which will only require you to fight 2 bosses. You cannot use items during this challenge, so bringing Arena Powers like Lifeforce Bestower and Phantom Shield is highly recommended to increase your survivability.

To unlock the trophy, you’ll need to complete all 3 of the challenges on each of the 8 Boss Rushes. For the first 8 you have to complete them in under 12 minutes to complete all the challenges, with the exception of the last one which requires you to beat it in under 15 minutes. These times are extremely forgiving as chances are you’ll complete most of them in under half that time.

Surpassing Seleria
Complete all Boss Rush challenges on Hard difficulty.
Gold
Boss Rush Hard Difficulty unlocks after completing the game on Hard. You can talk to Liana and go to the Dispersed Dimension tab and press :r2: to change over to Boss Rush, then :r1: to change to Hard difficulty.

This is the exact same as the Boss Rush mode on Normal Difficulty, except now the bosses are on Hard difficulty. The requirements are all the same and the strategies that worked on Normal difficulty will also work here.

Arena in His Prime
Upgrade all Arena Powers to the maximum level.

Sanctified Sword
Defeat Victor on Nightmare difficulty without using any items.
Silver
Victor is encountered during Chapter 2 – Beside SkyMirror Lake. In order to earn the trophy, you can’t use a single item during his boss fight. So nothing that is located on the D-Pad. You can’t unbind anything from the D-Pad, so just make sure you don’t accidentally press it during the fight or you’ll need to reset.

With not being able to heal with items during the fight, you’ll need to mostly focus on increasing your survivability instead. Below is a setup you can use that will help you stay alive for the fight that can also be used for mostly the entire game. The weapon you use is up to your personal preference.

  • Weapon
    • Equip Butterfly Wings III. This will restore 20 health per attack against enemies with status ailments, so make sure the weapon you choose has an ailment.
    • Equip Crescent Dragon III. This will increase attack by 12%
    • Equip Crown of Thorns III. This will increase attack against defense-broken enemies by 15%
    • Equip Demon Head III. This will increase your critical rate by 12%.
    • Equip Rose III. This will restore 60 health every time you hit a critical, with a 0.5 second cooldown.
    • For your last slot, you can either use either Wolf Head III for 20% extra critical damage, or Sunlight Buckler III for a 15% critical boost against defense-broken enemies. If you want extra damage go for the Wolf Head. If you want to benefit from the Rose more and are struggling with health, go for Sunlight Buckler.
    • For the side stats of all your accessories, you’ll want them to increase break percentage.
    • The scythe is recommended for this specifically since it can deal break damage extremely quickly, and it has the ability to damage while dodging. Combined with the extremely good Phantom Reap skill when using all 3 Unbound Energy, it can really melt bosses quickly, especially combined with using the Fusion Merge to get 3 Unbound Energy with just 1 perfect dodge.
  • Arena Powers
    • Phantom Shield is a must as it will negate a total of 4 attacks (if it’s fully upgraded, which it should be by now) and it will last 60 seconds if you don’t deplete them all in time. This is super useful for just saving yourself a few hits.
    • Lifeforce Bestower is also a must as it will be your only way to guarantee heal during the fight without having to attack the boss. Because you have to stand in the area of effect in order to get the heals, it’s best to use this when the boss isn’t attacking you, like when they’re stunned or just coming out of a stun so you can stand still in it for as long as possible to get the heals.
    • The last one is completely personal preference as it’s just whichever one you like to deal damage with. Mountain Break is a good one, but you can use whichever damaging Arena Power you prefer.
  • Trinkets
    • Ring of Nature is extremely useful for this setup as it accumulates status ailments quicker so the Butterfly skills on your weapons will get your health faster, but it also will increase break by 10% on enemies afflicted with a status ailment which means you can deal more damage quicker.
    • Ring of Supremacy is also useful as it speeds up the recharge rate of everything and increase you max health. This will make your Arena Powers and Fusion Merge more useful as they’ll recharge a lot quicker so you can use them more frequently during your fights.
    • The last trinket is up to your personal preference depending on what you’re lacking in.
      • Ring of Lording III. Increases your Maximum HP by 600 and will decrease the damage you take by 15%. Extremely good if you’re dying fast.
      • Ring of Fury II. Increases your break damage by 10%. Extremely good to break the boss even faster so you can do more damage quicker.
      • Emblem of the (Weapon Type). Increases the physical damage of the weapon the Emblem is for by 16%. Useful if your damage is low.
      • Pendant of Buckhorn II. Doing a perfect dodge restores 100 health. Not much, but can be helpful if you find yourself struggling with regaining health.
Hot Dance in Hot Spring
Defeat Zana on Nightmare difficulty without using any items.
Silver
Zana is encountered during Chapter 3 – Neverwind Monastery. In order to earn the trophy, you can’t use a single item during his boss fight. So nothing that is located on the D-Pad. You can’t unbind anything from the D-Pad, so just make sure you don’t accidentally press it during the fight or you’ll need to reset.

To see a good setup for defeating the boss without items, refer to :silver: Sanctified Sword.

Cleaving the Cycle
Defeat Aramon on Nightmare difficulty without using any items.
Silver
Aramon is encountered during Chapter 5 – Clash of Fates. In order to earn the trophy, you can’t use a single item during his boss fight. So nothing that is located on the D-Pad. You can’t unbind anything from the D-Pad, so just make sure you don’t accidentally press it during the fight or you’ll need to reset.

Do you would say it is worth it to play the Game?
Reviews where very mixed. But Fight system looks fun.

This is no way a 25 hours platinum for most peoples, more like 40h to be honest.

The first playthrough collecting everything takes roughly 10-15 hours. The last 2 playthroughs can be completed in roughly 5 hours each skipping all cutscenes and speeding through the game.

Update: I increased the average time to platinum to 30 hours, even though I still think that’s pretty high for how quickly you can be finished with the game personally

Can i play the Game blind and after getting all collectibles via chapter select and then ng+?

    • ObsiEez says

      September 4, 2025 at 11:06 pm

I don’t recommend it since a lot of the trinkets in your first playthrough are unique to the Normal playthrough specifically so you’d need to replay sections on Normal difficulty you wouldn’t normally need to. The game has a very basic & barebones storyline, so playing it blind wouldn’t be a huge benefit and would result in a lot more unnecessary time spent.

7/10 but only 30 hours? What’s the most difficult thing about it?

It’s a very short game, but clearing the game on Nightmare difficulty can be a pain for players as it can take some skill. It’s still one of the easier games in the genre in my opinion but wonky hitboxes & bad damage feedback can sometimes make fights harder than they otherwise normally would. It’s a game that the skill of the player in the genre will really affect how hard or easy you find the game

Great guide but I would say 50 hours is far more realistic. There’s no way anyone’s platting this in 30 hours, a speedrun takes about 7-10 hours. 30 hours is just unrealistic tbh

Posting this here because there is no contact page for them, so maybe you guys have a way to reach.

The trinkets seems to be bugged, and if the Seleria’s ones are needed they need to fix that because after leaving the Mount you can’t grab them no matter how many times you die.

Also the Ice polearm is missing now after the last update and it dissappears after the dock cutscene short after, so you can’t max all the weapons now.

Same issue !!! The ice Stygian wrath weapon doesn’t even get into my inventory after beating liquid energy boss , I tried all modes and still didn’t get it at all ( no notification I got the weapon showed!)
Trinkets thy say there are 95 to collect, they say there is the last one from beating nightmare mode which I’ll confirm it very soon .

But we need help with the ice weapon please !

Would say it’s more like 6-7/10 3x ~50h, tho time really depends on your skill, especially for boss rush on hard some bosses could really be a pain for some lower skill players :D And ofc nightmare diff bosses can be a little bit of struggle, especially Zana with no potions
