Geared Up: Stormslinger is an Errand in Horizon Zero Dawn: The Frozen Wilds DLC. This walkthrough shows how to complete the quest.

Objectives:
- Meet Varga at the Stormbird site
- Gather a Stormbird Talon
- Return to Varga
After completing Into the Frozen Wilds, Burgrends daughter Varga will offer you three different errands to upgrade the three new weapons of this DLC – the Forgefire, the Stormslinger and the Icerail. In order to upgrade the weapon you obviously have to obtain it first – the Stormslinger is a reward for finishing the quest The Shaman’s Path.
For the component we need to upgrade this weapon, we need to travel out of the Cut and back to the Main Games map. Varga will already wait there and so does our enemy – the Stormbird is already hovering in the air above us.
Take him down with your bow – Tearblast and Precision arrows work quite well. Once he is down (literally), loot him for the component we need.
Varga will still be in the area. Go back to her and she will upgrade this Stormslinger in no-time and this errand will be completed.
