Days Gone I’ve Had Better Days Walkthrough

I’ve Had Better Days is a Main Story Mission in Days Gone. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the “I’ve Had Better Days” Main Quest.

I’ve Had Better Days Starting Location

This mission will become available after Deacon meets with Doc Jimenez. This mission starts in Lake Crater.

Rescue Taylor

Taylor seems to have gone into trouble with some Marauders who have taken him captive for some information. Of course it’s up to Deacon to save the day. Ride to the mission marker to see Taylor prisoner of a group of Marauders. Taylor refuses to reveal what he knows and refuses to listen to the Marauders’ leader. Not collaborating, Taylor has one of his ears cut off. I’m sure he’ll start collaborating now.

Approach the camp of Marauders any way you see fit, either by storming in or approaching it stealthily, using Focus for better shots. Time for Deacon to play hero again and save the unfortunate Taylor.

Approach the door to jimmy it and enter the hideout where Taylor is taken captive by the leader. You will now have only a couple of seconds to kill him. Equip your crossbow or any other weapon (you won’t get Taylor anyway) and go into Focus mode to get more time. Headshot the Marauders’ leader to save Taylor.

This concludes I’ve Had Better Days mission in Days Gone and unlocks the mission “You Got the Wrong Guy”.
