God of War Ragnarok All Shield Locations

God of War Ragnarok contains 5 Shields. Obtaining all Shields unlocks the Phalanx trophy. They can be viewed in the Weapons Menu. None of the Shields are missable, you can still get all of them after the story in free roam. Only the main shields are required for the trophy. The Shield Attachments (Rönds) are not needed!

The first 2 are crafted at the blacksmith. 1 is an automatic story unlock. 2 are found from a legendary chest, or alternatively crafted from the blacksmith later on.

#1 – Dauntless Shield
Purchasable from blacksmith shop.

#2 – Stone Wall Shield
Purchasable from blacksmith shop.

#3 – Guardian Shield
Automatic Story Unlock, given to you by Sindri/Brok at start of Main Quest 08: The Word of Fate.

#4 – Shatter Star Shield
Found in a Legendary Chest in Vanaheim – The Abandoned Village.

#5 – Onslaught Shield
In a Legendary Chest immediately after the Garm boss fight in Helheim. If you forgot to pick it up here, it will automatically be added to the blacksmith shop and can be bought for 7500 Hacksilver at any point later on. You can’t return to this particular section of Helheim after the story, but because the Shield is automatically added to the blacksmith it’s not missable.
