Introduction

Welcome to the JUST A PHRASE BY POWGI Trophy Guide!

After a total of 10 games ported to PlayStation consoles, this is the first all-new installment of the POWGI series.
In this Hangman-style game, you need to complete misspelled Phrases, which phonetically sound (mostly) correct.

Step 1: Complete all 120 Phrases

Solving all Phrases will net you most of the trophies along the way, especially those for the 26 individual Letters.

Step 2: Clean-up

You might need to replay a few Phrases to get some rare Letters or do some miscellaneous tasks, such as solving a Phrase with no- or many mistakes.

To obtain this trophy, leave an X as the last letter to solve the Phrase. An X is quite rare, but it is found in Phrase 65.

To obtain this trophy, leave a Y as the last letter to solve the Phrase. This will very likely happen automatically while playing all puzzles, as this is quite a frequent letter.

Give me a “Z”
Complete a phrase using “Z” as the final correct letter

To obtain this trophy, leave a Z as the last letter to solve the Phrase. A Z is quite rare, but it is found in Phrase 79.

Just So
Complete a phrase with no wrong letters

Quite simple, if you know the answers. The first one would be an obvious choice. Take your time and don’t select anything wrong.

Just In Time
Complete a phrase in under 60 seconds

With the solutions below, it can be done with every of the 120 Phrases. If you are struggling somehow, you could take Phrase 119 “LIEN ON ME”, which only features a total of 6 letters which need to be selected.

Just a Minute
Spend a minute considering the next letter

At any time during a Phrase, don’t do anything for 60 seconds to get this classic POWGI trophy.

Just a Guess
The first letter you chose for a phrase was wrong

This is a no-brainer. If this is the last trophy to your Platinum, you did something wrong 🙂

Just My Luck
Select five wrong letters in a row

Not too hard, if you know the solution to the Phrase. The first one is a good pick for it. Can also be combined with the trophy below, where you need to get all wrong letters in a single Phrase.

Just Shoot Me
Select every wrong letter before completing a phrase

Pick all incorrect letters, before you choose the final correct letter for this trophy. A good example would be the first Phrase. See the picture below, with all the red letters at the bottom. Pick all of them and finish the Phrase.

Just Because You Can Doesn’t Mean You Should
Complete a phrase by only pressing one button

Solving a Phrase while only mashing one button is very possible. A good choice would be the

button, as the game will still offer this one, if there are less than four letters total remaining (thus making

unavailable for selection and so on).

Just Like That
Your first choice appeared at least 4 times in the phrase

This trophy can only be obtained on Phrases which have at least one letter 4 times in it. Luckily, this isn’t so rare after all.

A good pick would be the very first Phrase “HERD IT THROUGH THE GRAPEVINE” – both E & H are featured four times. If neither of these two letters are up for selection, head back to the menu and start it again. If either E and/or H show up as a first choice, pick any of them to get this trophy.
