Pokemon Sword & Shield Pichu Location

November 23, 2019 by PowerPyx 4 Comments

Galar Dex: #193 Pichu
Abilities: Static (1) | Static (2) | Lightning Rod (H)
Type: Electric
EXP Group: MediumFast
Egg Group: Undiscovered
Hatch Cycles: 10
Height: 00.30 m, Weight: 002.0 kg, Color: Yellow
Evolution: Pichu (reach maximum friendship) > Pikachu  (use Thunder Stone evolution item) > Raichu
Characteristics: Despite its small size, it can zap even adult humans. However, if it does so, it also surprises itself. The electric sacs in its cheeks are small. If even a little electricity leaks, it becomes shocked.

Pichu Location in Pokemon Sword & Shield: You can find Pichu in the following locations:

  • Can be hatched from egg by breeding Pikachu with Ditto.
  • Appears in 2 different 2-Star Raids (Level 25-30) – available in both Sword & Shield
  • No known locations to catch this Pokemon in the open world (Raids only)
  • Potentially available by Mystery Gift (random and extremely rare)

The only decently reliable method known to get this Pokemon is by grinding Raids until you get lucky to find a 2-Star Raid with Pichu in it.

Pichu Stats:

  • HP: 20
  • Attack: 40
  • Defense: 15
  • Special Attack: 35
  • Special Defense: 35

Does it work with Raichu as well? Logically I would think so, but Pokemon often defies logic.

Take a female and male pikachu to the Nursery on route 5 in sword and shield. They will hold a egg, which at that point you should have Acquired the bike for fast hatching.
