Evolution: Vulpix > Ninetales (use Fire Stone evolution item)
Characteristics: While young, it has six gorgeous tails. When it grows, several new tails are sprouted. As each tail grows, its fur becomes more lustrous. When held, it feels slightly warm.

  • Can also be caught during third gym challenge (fire type) in Motostoke. The challenge requires you to catch or defeat some Pokemon in the arena’s grass. If you defeat it by accident, quickly close the game before it saves and reload the save to get another try. It’s a sureshot way to get Vulpix.

    Vulpix is in Shield.
    1. You can get in in the 3rd gym
    2. There are non-overworld encounters.
    I can’t tell you the english names of the locations since I’m playing in german.
    But it’s just in the north of the wild area.

      And just saw them overworld at the Dusty Bowl ( if I researched the name correctly )

      OMG thank you so much I’ve been wondering where to find Vuplix because I was not able to catch him in the 3rd Gym.

    Thanks so much cause i’m playing trough shield and i finished my sword but i did not want to switch games cause i was already on shield
