Introduction

Welcome to the TIC-TAC-LETTERS BY POWGI Trophy Guide!

POWGI-gameplay paired with classic Tic-Tac-Toe-mechanics – what’s not to like? While this is the first game not to feature any words, it will still take up quite a bit of brain capacity, if you do it the legit way. However, if you want to blast through it very quickly, the next paragraph should get your attention.

Doing it the easy Way

You can cut down the time immensely, if you cheese the built-in feature to check for mistakes, which automatically removes all the wrong ones you’ve placed.

Hammer O’s in the whole grid, press + to check/fix and fill in all Blanks with X’s. That’s it!

That is quick for trophies but considerably no fun to play.

Switching to XO-mode

Each puzzle usually has two unique letters to play with. If you do prefer to play with the classic X and O letters, you can switch them on in the menu at any time.
Below, screenshots of both ways will be shown – whatever you prefer.

Collect all trophies to obtain the Platinum. As per usual.

At the beginning of the Game, an info-screen will pop up and explain, how this game works.

It is really worth reading, as it shows you the basic principles and how to proceed, if you (seem to) get stuck.

Cycle through all five pages and the trophy is yours.

This will be likely the first XO-puzzle for you.

How About a Nice Game of Chess?
Solve your first Hard puzzle

Puzzle 92 (EX) is the first trophy-relevant Hard Puzzle to solve.

The Only Winning Move Is Not to Play
Spend at least 60 seconds considering something futile

At any time in any puzzle, don’t make any moves for a minute and this trophy has been dealt with.

Help Meowt
Use Hint 100 times

At any time, you can get a hit by pressing

. Do so a total of 100 times to get this miscellaneous trophy out of the way.

Who’s a Clever Boy?
Solve a puzzle without making a single mistake

This is easily achievable with the very first puzzle.

Tac-Tics
Solve a puzzle without using Fix or Hint

Same applies here; the early puzzles are short and have fewer opportunities for mistakes.

Tic-Tock
Solve a puzzle in under 60 seconds

Guess what – I heard, the puzzles on the first Page are quite handy for this!
With the “cheese-method”, getting 20 seconds on the puzzles of the first Page is doable.
