Wuchang Fallen Feathers All Tao Qing Item Locations

There are 17 Tao Qing stock upgrade items in Wuchang: Fallen Feathers. Finding all of them is needed to fully upgrade Tao Qing’s shop for the Well Traveled trophy & achievement.

After getting the items, you must bring them to the Tao Qing merchant to upgrade his shop. Almost all of them are rewards from defeating bosses. Tao Qing moves to different locations throughout the game. His character icon will appear in the fast travel menu at shrines to indicate his current location. The first time you can access his shop is at Shu Sanctum. He also sells various Jade Pendants and Weapons needed for other trophies.

Everything in the first region Worship’s Rise is missable. This region becomes unavailable after talking to the Storyteller in Region 3: Mt. Zhenwu – Zhenwu Altar. The shop upgrades you already unlocked will carry over into New Game+.

Tao Qing Upgrade #1: Copper Jar
Worship’s Rise – Lightzen Temple
Dropped by boss: Master Raider – Man-eating Dhutanga. Can be given to Tao Qing at Shu Sanctum to upgrade his shop.

Unlocks:

• Dhutanga Set: Dhutanga’s Mask + Dhutanga’s Robes + Dhutanga’s Prayer Beads

Tao Qing Upgrade #2: Priest’s Broken Cane
Worship’s Rise – Shu Sanctum
Dropped by boss: Feathered Priest – Lu Bingzhang, who is found on the top floor of Shu Sanctum.

Unlocks:

Tao Qing Upgrade #3: Scenic Painting
Worship’s Rise – Annalum
After the shrine you will enter a big courtyard, go to the right over a bridge to find a big red eyed enemy, he drops it. The Annalum shrine is a little bit hidden and not on the main path. From Shu Sanctum shrine turn around, go downstairs, on the right go over the invisible bridge (where a yellow/green orb floats). Follow the path along the river through the bamboo forest and take the right path uphill through a village where a big enemy rolls a rock at you. Proceed until you reach a fire-bird enemy. At the fire-bird go down the left path to reach this side area.

Tao Qing Upgrade #4: Jade Cicada
Worship’s Rise – Annalum
Dropped by the boss “Gluttonous Monstrosity – Lu Hongliu”. From Annalum shrine, backtrack to the village where the fire bird enemy was. Go through the village and open the big wooden gate to the boss. Can make a shortcut to the right of the boss arena by kicking down the tree to Shu Sanctum.

Tao Qing Upgrade #5: Believer’s Statue
Worship’s Rise – Bandit Cave
Dropped by boss: Blightweaver – Great Centipede. Directly after the Bandit Cave shrine.

Dropped by boss “Reborn Treant – Soulwood”, can’t miss it.

Cloud Spire – Rebel Camp
Automatic story reward from boss “General of the North – Ai Nengqi”, can’t miss it. Can then be given to Tao Qing at the Refugee Camp in the 3rd main region “Mt. Zhenwu”.

Dropped by  boss “Ming General – Liu Cheng’en”, can’t miss it. Can then be given to Tao Qing at the Refugee Camp in the 3rd main region “Mt. Zhenwu”.

Dropped by boss “Bo Magus”. Can then be given to Tao Qing at Annalum in the 4th region.

Tao Qing Upgrade #16: Jade Belt Hook
Worship’s Rise in Ruins – Burning Cave
Dropped by boss “The Reborn / Dragon Emperor – Zhu Youjian”. Can then be given to Tao Qing at Annalum in the 4th region.

• Headwear: True Dragon’s Hood

Tao Qing Upgrade #17: Shu Army Board
Mt. Zhenwu – Avian Dwelling
Dropped by boss “Eternal Glory – Zhao Yun” (White-Robed Elder). If you did all his interactions throughout the game and in Refugee Camp agreed to help him defeat Bo Sorcerer, he will sit at the Tomb in Avian Marsh. After reaching the 5th Region Bo Capital you can go back there and he will turn into a boss. The item he drops can then be given to Tao Qing at Annalum in the 4th region.

Unlocks:

• Weapon: Malice Sting (Spear)

 

After giving the last item to Tao Qing you will immediately unlock Well Traveled trophy/achievement.
