Wuchang: Fallen Feathers All Collectible Locations Guide

July 24, 2025 by PowerPyx 23 Comments

This Wuchang: Fallen Feathers Collectible Guide covers all trophy/achievement relevant collectibles, NPC questlines, and bosses to get Platinum & 1000 Gamerscore in one playthrough. There are other non-unique items, all of which can be bought from merchants later in the game (blue consumables, feathers for weapon upgrades, armor dropped by enemies), and benedictions which aren’t relevant for trophies.

Everything becomes missable as the story progresses, especially NPC interactions must be done at the earliest opportunity. This guide is intended for use during the story, if doing anything out of order it can fail questlines and their associated rewards.

The trophy relevant collectibles are:

  • 3 Riddles (must answer all correctly) – trophy Sage
  • 7 Benediction Gates – trophy Discerning Eye
  • 24 Weapons – trophy Legendary Collector
  • 31 Jade Pendants – trophy Pendant Gatherer
  • 20 Bamboozlings (must find all in one playthrough) – trophy Bamboozling Return
  • 6 Inner Demons (Bo Blood) – trophy Quelling Madness
  • 9 Wu Gang Stock Upgrade Items – trophy Shop of Plenty
  • 17 Tao Qing Stock Upgrade Items – trophy Well Traveled
  • 50 Shrines – trophy Radiant Faith
  • 22 Manna Vase Upgrades (Health Flask)
    • 12 Forgotten Remembrances – trophy Overflowing Manna
    • 10 Lost Remains – trophy Surging Manna
  • 24 Bosses – 20 of them give trophies
  • 4 Endings – trophy Dream’s Sweet Deceit, trophy Successor of the Bo, trophy Bound by Fate’s Threads, trophy Jarful of Medicine
  • 18 NPC Questlines – for various trophies

The only important items are yellow pickups, and some of the purple ones. Blue items are consumables which are plentiful and can be bought. Some purple items are just feathers (Faint Red Feathers, Brilliant Red Feathers, Radiant Red Feathers, Lustrous Red Feathers). While these are used for weapon upgrades, they can all be bought from merchants later after upgrading their shops, so there’s no point collecting all of them. There are way more than you’ll ever need, and can find them all again in New Game+. The Aurum Birds (black birds that make noise) are not part of any questline and not needed for anything, they only drop consumable Aurum Feathers, but you get a better effect by using the Ancient Chisel instead.

There’s a major point of no return at Region 3: Mt. Zhenwu – Zhenwu Altar. When talking to the storyteller, you will be sent to the 4th region and it removes the 1st region from the game. Up to that point you can still free-roam the first 3 regions to find items, but all NPC interactions are immediately missable if ignoring them where they first appear. NPCs go away after certain bosses and when progressing to new regions. If NPC interactions are available, they will appear as character icons in the fast travel menu. Check this whenever reaching a new shrine and before/after every boss. All NPC interactions are covered in the guide. Follow the recommended dialogue decisions, other choices can void endings. If anything goes wrong, New Game+ can be rushed in just 4-5 hours since you’ll be overleveled and everything dies almost instantly. All your skills and inventory carry over to NG+, except quest items and shrines. In NG+ you can find upgraded versions of weapons and pendants in the same locations.

This guide is best followed on the first playthrough. You will find many useful upgrade items that make the game considerably easier. It will also help you figure out where to go.

This chronological guide by area has been optimized to earn all 4 endings in a single playthrough by making strategic save game backups before ending decisions. PS5 players will need a PS+ subscription to make backups in the cloud, and must disable auto-sync. Without save backups, 4 full playthroughs are required to unlock all endings (one per ending), due to the game having only 1 Autosave. After triggering an ending it immediately starts New Game+ with no option to free-roam after the story. Therefore, everything is missable.

I’ll add videos by collectible type on July 26th. The dev still has some restrictions on Chapter 5 content till 2 days after launch.

It had the potential to be a very great game, but sadly they ruined it with all the missable trophies.

…whatever happened to enjoyment of gaming…people like you are the reason those $1 trophy grab games are all over the place.

I do not go for $1 trophy games and i enjoy games don’t worry. But since i love collecting trophies i do not want to get paranoid playing the game thinking i missed something and after and 8 hrs day at work i don’t want the game to become a second job.

That is not enjoyable for me sorry. And devs are doing this so that they increase the playability of the game because they are out of ideas on how to make the game longer!

This is the way of telling you, hey you want a long game right? there you go just repeat it until you get all trophies!

Do I need to summon that guy for the priest fight for his quest? Or can it be any boss? If so I’ll have to do NG+ for that one NPC quest.

I summoned him to the Priest boss and that’s what I can confirm to work for his questline. He can only be summoned to the Priest boss at that point in the game (and later some other specific bosses that are part of his quest).

I am following the guide, but seeing a lot of NPCs that I can talk to in area 1, at Reverant temple and Shu Sanctum.
Is it ok to talk to these whenever I see them, or should I wait until the guide tells me when to talk to them?

All interactions are when exactly I did them myself and I got all endings in one playthrough. It’s possible some NPCs can be interacted with earlier. For the majority of them it’s probably fine to interact with them earlier but if they offer any dialogue choices it can lock out some stuff if making the wrong choice. If in doubt follow the order in collectible guide. You can also look up all NPC interactions in the NPC Questline Guide.

Region 5 will be published tomorrow, as the developer still restricts showing the endings/region 5 area at this time.

Thank you for this guide. I have been using your guides a lot, but i think this is your masterpiece, given so many narrow paths and decisions and a ton of character interactions within the game. To get it done in just one playthrough…and to figure that out, my respect.

To the game itself: In my opinion they nailed it. Dark Souls 3 was my first Souls Game 10 years ago…I haven´t had that “first time” feeling since then, til´ this game.

    Just got the platinum.

    Greetings from Germany

Hey! Thanks for the guide! But i just want to point out, i missed one bamboozling, so its the only trophy i had left. I started new games plus and it was the fourth one i was missing, killed him and the trophy and platinum popped, so i dont know if its a bug or whatever, but it seems you dont need to have them all in one playthrought for the trophy, you can just get the one ur missing in NG+

    THANKS again

Just an FYI, if you are playing on PC (i think applied to both Gamepass or Steam), saving and reloading will not help you get the final achievement “Fallen Feathers” for Earn all achievements… it was stuck at 87% until i replayed all endings on the SAME save (meaning had to play 4 times and beat the game at NG+4)… only then did that achievement pop!

Interesting they set it up like that on PC/XB. I heard others saying the Fallen Feathers achievement is glitched on those platforms but that would explain why. On PS5 it autopops fine if you exploit all endings in 1 run with save backups. I’ve added a note in the trophy guide under the Fallen Feathers that on PC/XB it may require all 4 endings on same save.

I had this same issue when using the backup save method to get all the endings for AI Limit, another Soulslike released this year.

I think it might be a common issue among some PC games.

Followed the guide and it works perfectly. Knocked all collection trophies down.

Truly appreciate the effort. I knew how much of a pain to navigate in this game.

Hej man great guide. Just a question. Do the platinum trophey and guide changes because of the 1.5 patch where they changed some of the bosses not dying?
