Annalum Courtyard is the 3rd shrine in Worship’s Rise in Ruins region of Wuchang: Fallen Feathers.
Collectibles Overview:
How to reach Annalum Courtyard: from Shu Sanctum, go upstairs one floor, leave over the rooftop path. Then go up the right path, past where an enemy rolls a rock at you. Go all the way to the top, at the hilltop go over the invisible bridge to the other side to reach this shrine.
Worship’s Rise in Ruins – Annalum Coutyard
Weapon: Scorn Greataxe (Axe)
Go back along the path and take the wooden platforms down to the lower level where the tunnel is. In the wooden hut on the right before the tunnel you can find a small chest with this weapon.
Warning: be careful of the enemy on the left and the explosive barrels in this area. Some players reported that if you open the chest and then die, the axe disappears. It’s better to make sure the area is safe first. However, if you die the axe can then be found in the collection box left of Refugee Camp shrine.
Benediction Gate (Fa – Corruptive Feathers)
In the first area of the palace with the glowing pillar, go up the stairs directly behind it and follow the path to find the gate.
Shrine: Worship’s Rise in Ruins – Palace Vegetable Garden
In the garden area behind the Benediction Gate, be careful as the shrine is a mimic enemy that must be defeated before it can be activated.

Please put a warning of the enemy on the left of the Scorn Greataxe chest. I opened the chest and all of the explosive barrels went off and killed me, when I came back to the chest the axe was gone from the chest. Looked online and its a bug that the axe disappears if you die. I’ll have to play the game again just to come all the way back to late game to get this weapon and tbh I dont think I will.. platinum run over.

Actually I just made the same post, however I can help you put here friend, check the donation box in the refugee camp. The same thing happened to me and that is often where unaquired drops before you die appear.

Interesting, I added a warning about that.
Just in case it doesn’t appear in the donation box at Refugee Camp, if you made a backup before talking to Storyteller at end of Region 3 you can restore that without needing to replay the entire game (I had recommended a backup there in guide). In NG+ you can also rush to Region 4 within 3 hours if you only do the main bosses. But as long as it appears in the donation box it’s all good either way.

@Powerpyx, I tried sending a clip of me finding the ax in my donation box Via PSN, but couldn’t however provided the OP checks first before quitting the game, could you add the suggestion to check the dono box?
PowerPyx says
Yup updated it with tip about checking collection box.

I’d like to offer a suggestion the part on how to acquire the Scorn Greataxe be amended slightly with a small warning. The wood hut where you find it is surrounded by oil jars, to the left of the small chest is a goblin enemy hidden behind some of the jars (who i didn’t notice due to the lighting) as soon as you open the chest he will set off all of the jars, which going off all at once will kill you. When I came back to that spot the chest was opened and the item was gone. If this DOSE happen which given the nature of the trap, it is ment to, go back to the refugee camp and you can find the ax in the donation box.
I just wanted to point this out because I am sure others first instinct will be like mine and think to roll back their save, fortunately I remembered the Dono box before that happened lol.
