Wuchang Fallen Feathers Avian Marsh Collectible Locations

Avian Marsh is the 4th shrine in Mt. Zhenwu region of Wuchang: Fallen Feathers.

How to reach Avian Marsh: In the same forest area, go straight down the middle to climb down a ladder, then the shrine is in the first building on the right.

Mt. Zhenwu – Avian Marsh

Inner Demon (Bo Blood) + Root Stone Needle – Status
From the shrine stick to the left of the area up the slope left of the big clam enemy. Follow the tree to the grey burnt branch with the item, before a summoner enemy. Pick up the item to be dropped into a lower area where the Inner Demon will spawn.

Jade Pendant: Pearl Pendant
From the shrine stay on the lower level and take the path near the end of the right. This is in the middle of the path right in front of a giant clam enemy that jumps out of the water.

Bamboozling #11
Follow the main path past where you can kick down a shortcut ladder to the shrine. While climbing the next section of trees there is another burned nest with an item that drops you to the lower level. On this path after you drop down is the Bamboozling. Have a spell ready to shoot it fast.
WARNING: If you fail to catch the Bamboozling, the branch where you drop down will be gone when you respawn at the shrine. It can be tricky to relocate it. If you miss it, save the last minutes of gameplay using PS5 Capture button to retrace your pathing where to drop down exactly. If starting at the shrine, go up the ladder shortcut, turn right, go past the big walking bird enemy, go straight where the path leads up, there will be a bird on the left side (if you didn’t kill it) and a corpse on the ground. Drop down the immediate right of the bird/corpse, this is where the branch was. You can also see a nest below the right of this path, which is where you must land.

In same area as the Bamboozling is an invisible bridge, indicated by the yellow/green glowing orbs in the air. You can walk over these to find a little chest at the end. Doesn’t contain anything important, only a Benediction item.

Secret Letter (Quest Item)
Continue on the main path until you reach the tree hollow with the two bird enemies. This is on the ground on the right side.

Red-Eyed Enemy (Skill Point)
Immediately after when out of the tree, the red-eyed enemy that drops a Red Mercury Essense is on the right. Can also kick down a tree shortcut to his left.

Forgotten Remembrance (Manna Vase Upgrade)
In the large room with the summoner in the middle that inflicts Despair, follow the path around the left to the room with the other summoner enemy. On the lower floor of that room you can drop out the window onto some platforms to reach the central platform where this chest is located. If you struggle with the Despair buildup, switch to an outfit with high resistance to it and consume Fixed Origin Pills which can be gotten from any shrine in exchange for Madness.

Jade Pendant: Crane Pendant
On the main path just before exiting the cave is an armored enemy. On the right near the cave exit is a small chest with this inside.

NPC: White-Robed Elder
Directly after the Crane Pendant, go over the bridge and he’ll stand on the right side. Only if in Refugee Camp you agreed to help him.

Bronze Armor (Wu Gang)
Continue along the main path through the tree village. When you reach the tree with the ladder shorcut in the middle, activate the ladder but don’t climb down, go left where a group of bird enemies will start attacking each other. This pickup is near the back by the nests.

Bamboozling #12
Go back to the hollow tree before the Wu Gang Item, climb up the ladder, go straight ahead on the path (not to the right where the enemy is talking) and a Bamboozling will appear running away along the tree branch. Best killed using a spell.

Lost Remains (Manna Vase Upgrade) + Red Mercury Essence
In the area with the Bamboozling, take the right path past the weak enemies, and there is a ladder on the left leading down into a tree. At the bottom is a red-eyed enemy that drops a Red Mercury Essence, along with this golden chest.

Spell: Plume Vortex
In the area with the Bamboozling, take the path to the right past the weak enemies, then into the far tree where there is a ladder going up. Climb up, then on the ledge looking back at the Avian Dwelling shrine is this spell. Glowing white orb on a body.

Activate the shortcut on the left, leading back to Avian Dwelling. This lets you get back to the boss easier.

Boss: Bo Sorcerer (Boss Guide)
Walk down the path under where the Plume Vortex was to reach a big tree where the boss is located.
CALL WHITE-ROBED ELDER TO THIS FIGHT USING THE BONE WHISTLE (FOR HIS QUESTLINE)
If you agreed to help the White-Robed Elder at Refugee Camp, use the Bone Whistle during the boss fight to have him help you defeat the boss.
Rewards: Copper Drum (Tao Qing Item), Spell: Echo of the Bo Sorcerer, Bo Sorcerer

Jade Pendant: Tigraliz Pendant + NPC: White-Robed Elder
After defeating Bo Sorcerer with the White-Robed Elder’s help (having called him via Bone Whistle), backtrack to the Avian Dwelling shrine and rest at the shrine. Then his character icon should appear in the fast travel menu. From the shrine, go over the left shortcut to where the two weak human enemies are. Where the Bamboozling was, go over the bridge into the big open area with white flower field. He sits there at the altar. Talk to him to receive the Jade Pendant as his quest reward.

NPC: Buglio
Now go back to the boss arena, take the exit behind the boss arena and take the right path, in the cave you can find Buglio. Has dialogue option Let Buglio Return or Quit. What you pick here seemingly doesn’t matter and leads to the same outcome for this NPC later. If you say “Let Buglio Return” he will accuse you of being evil. Regardless of the choice, he will be found again later at Altar Gate shrine with the same outcome.

Red Mercury Essence (Skill Point) + Armor Piece: Leech Headwear
To the right of Buglio are breakable items, with a path leading up to a red-eyed enemy.

NPC in Tent
Continue up the path left from the enemy to find a back entrance to the Refugee Camp. Interact with the tent that has yellow letters all over it, and give the man the Broken Token. (If he’s not here no worries, it doesn’t affect any endings or collectibles. Sometimes he’s here and sometimes not)

NPC: Nian Suichang
Speak with him by the bridge that leads to the shortcut into the Refugee Camp. Gives 3 x Nitre Fire Pot.

NPC: Child in the Jar
If you have given Child in the Jar the two items he wanted before, he will appear here at the top of the shortcut ladder, down the slope from the tent with yellow stickers on it. Initially he won’t have an interaction but if you go back by the Shrine some people in a tent will make mention of a boat. You can then go back to the Child in the Jar and can pick between two choices “Tell of the boat waiting at the dock” or “Keep quiet about the boat at the dock”.

• Recommended: “Tell of the boat waiting at the dock” -> This will advance his questline, he will spawn later at Ferry Overlook shrine later in the game. After you meet him there again, he will drop you an item as his quest reward (nothing important for trophies though)
• “Keep quiet” -> This breaks his questline, he will disappear after resting at shrine, when you return to the spot you can pick up the Dough Figurine of Mu Guiying and Ceramic Jar (Helmet) from beside the fire.
