Depths of the Capital is the 2nd shrine in Bo Capital region, this page also includes the secret “Tomb” shrine in Mt. Zhenwu which wasn’t available on the first visit.

How to reach Depths of the Capital: from Capital Entrance follow the path to the left of the shrine. After going down an elevator (very long elevator ride), you’ll find it in the next area on the left, past where two big monsters are fighting.
Bo Capital – Depths of the Capital
The red door left of the shrine is very important for various trophies and the last 2 endings. It’s the third and final riddle door in the game. Make sure you backed up your save before interacting with it or you’ll lock yourself out of some trophies.
Correct Answer: “The grand dream fades” – is needed to unlock 
Sage for answering all riddles correctly.
Wrong Answer: “The wheel turns anew” – is needed to reach a hidden Shrine + Bamboozling #19 + ENDING item “Ring of Samsara – Rebirth” + Secret Boss: Demon of Obsession.
Doing one would lock you out of the other for this playthrough!
The recommended workaround is: back up save > answer correctly to pop Sage > copy back save > do next step to prepare ending before giving wrong answer (beat White-Robed Elder).
Correct Answer Path (The grand dream fades) – Sage Trophy
Riddle #3 (Correct Answer)
To the left of the shrine, interact with the red riddle door. Give the CORRECT Answer: “The grand dream fades” -> Sage unlocked!
NPC: Boatman + Lustrous Red Feather / Ren – Blood Vigor
Answer correctly to find the Boatman on the other side of the door. Gives either a Lustrous Red Feather -or- Benediction Ren – Blood Vigor. However, neither is mandatory for trophies (there are 2 other Lustrous Red Feathers for the final weapon upgrades).
–> REVERT TO SAVE BACKUP #3 (PS5 Settings > Saved Data and Game/App Settings > Saved Data (PS5) > Download or Delete from Cloud Storage > Download)
You will respawn before the Riddle Door.
Wrong Answer Path (The wheel turns anew) – Dream’s Sweet Deceit Endings + Bound by Fate’s Threads
BEFORE interacting with the Riddle Door, must defeat White-Robed Elder as prerequisite for Demon of Obsession boss, and it’s a step towards Ending: Dream’s Sweet Deceit.
Secret Boss: Eternal Glory – Zhao Yun (White-Robed Elder) (Boss Guide)
Fast travel back to Mt. Zhenwu > Avian Dwelling. To the left of the shrine go over the fallen tree shortcut (was activated by going through Avian Marsh to Bo Sorcerer boss). Then go straight past the 2 weak humans and over the bridge where a Bamboozling was. Follow the path to the Avian Tomb where the field of white flowers is. If you did all interactions for the White-Robed Elder and agreed to help him defeat the Bo Sorcerer, you can return now and the White-Robed Elder will sit in front of the Tomb and turns hostile which triggers this secret boss fight (his NPC icon won’t appear in fast travel so unless you go back there would miss it). Defeat him.
Rewards: Shu Army Board (Tao Qing item), Cyan Feather Chisel (final Temper slot upgrade), Spell: Echo of Zhao Yun, Shrine: Tomb, Loyalty Armor Set (if performing “Worship” gesture at the blue interact point next to shrine after fight): Crown of Loyalty + Chainmail of Loyalty + Armguards of Loyalty + Leg Guards of Loyalty, Eternal Glory – Zhao Yun

Spawns in the boss arena after defeating Eternal Glory – Zhao Yun.
Riddle #3 (Wrong Answer)
Return to Depths of the Capital, interact with red riddle door left of shrine, give WRONG answer “The wheel turns anew“.
Fog will appear that teleports you to an important new area that can’t be reached any other way. Here you find a Secret Shrine, Demon of Obsession Boss (if you didn’t give Xuanyangzi the chisel and defeated White-Robed Elder), Bamboozling #19, and Ending Item.
Shrine: Bo Capital – Shrine Dwelling
Can only be reached by giving the WRONG answer at the red riddle door to the left ot Shrine “Depths of the Capital”. The wrong answer = The Wheel Turns Anew. When giving the wrong answer you get teleported to this new area, at the first opportunity turn left to see the shrine.

The great axe life leech doesn’t work really well in new game+ is it best to start a new game if this isn’t possible against Zhao Yun White robe?

In NG+ use it with the Spell “Echo of the Bo Magus” (dropped by Bo Magus boss), that’s how I did all bosses easily. The spell absorbs about 3 hits or so while the Lifeleech Axe refills health and Skyborn Might to spam Echo of Bo Magus when it runs out. This turns you pretty much invincible. Having a one-handed sword to charge up 3 Skyborn Might on path to bosses helps so you can go into fights with the spell active. Or consume a Plumed Branch.

Feel like starting new as on new game+ Zhao Yun hits very hard and they just constantly keep attacking you no time to heal. Staggering them doesn’t really work either even when spamming them. So I think it might be easier on normal difficulty.

This was so much easier than new game + just did it on a new game fresh from start and was easily doable.

There is a trick to make Zhao Yun (Eternal Glory) VERY EASY. Still might take a few tries, but once you get it in, it will be easy.
After he does his first attack, where he spins his sword, use a heavy to stun him and backstab. DO NOT attack him, instead jump back 3-4 times, and he will do the same attack again, you can rinse and repeat this as long as you don’t get hit. If you do, run away and wait until he does the attack again. This works for the whole fight, tho phase 2 / midlife, his mirage might can hit you.
