Wuchang Fallen Feathers Hillswatch Collectible Locations

July 24, 2025 by PowerPyx 7 Comments

Hillswatch is the 1st shrine in Cloudspire region of Wuchang: Fallen Feathers.

Collectibles Overview:

  • Wuchang: Fallen Feathers Collectible Guide

How to reach Hillswatch: on story path, after beating Commander – Honglan at Palace Hill, you go back to Reverent Temple and use the key on the door in the left corner of the courtyard. Then follow this passage through a cave to reach the 2nd main region.

Cloudspire – Hillswatch

Riddle #2 (Bridal Armor Set)
From the shrine turn around 180° and go over the bridge. The red glowing door will be to your left. This one only contains the Bridal Armor Set, not a Benediction.
Correct Answer: Challenge the threads of fate

NPC: Hillswatch’s Female Servant
On the bridge in front of the shrine.

NPC: Qiao Ling
Right of the shrine. Give her a Steamed Bunny Bun, gives 5 x Divination Crescent.
She only appears if you gave her the White Jade Dumpling in Shu Sanctum.

IMPORTANT: When you go up the path, there are two ways you can go. You’ll want to take the obvious path into the village where an exploding enemy jumps at you. DON’T take the path behind the breakable objects before the village entrance. It’s a hidden tunnel that leads to the game’s third region. Going to the third region first can break some questlines (particularly White-Robed Elder). Go through the village and advance through the Cloudspire region first, keep following the order here. It’s important you play through the 2nd main region (Cloudspire) before going into the 3rd region (Mt. Zhenwu).

NPC: Nian Suichang
From Hillswatch shrine, follow the path and enter the village. Go up the path to find him sitting there. Must have given him Mercurial Blood after Feathered Priest boss.

Shu Silk Scarf (Quest Item)
In the village take the first path on the left where there is a shortcut ladder to the Hillswatch shrine and a blue interaction spot past a doorway dialogue. Use the Examine emote to obtain this.

Coral Bracelet (Quest Item)
Go past above into the fenced area and kill the enemy with the large red bag. Can be given to Hillswatch’s Female Servant (if she doesn’t take it immediately, come back later after her character icon appears in fast travel at Hillswatch).Gives 3 x Spicy Soup then dies immediately after.

NPCs: Sun Kewang + Li Dingo
From Nian Suichang go further upstairs to find these two sitting together.

Rebel Orders (Quest Item)
Follow the path behind Sun Kewang and Li Dingo, defeat the human archer enemy, he drops this.

Tattered Pack (Quest Item) + NPC: Nian Suichang (revisited)
Pick up the purple item to the left of the archer enemy who dropped the Rebel Orders. Only appears if you spoke to Nian Suchang on the path before Kewang and Dingo. Return it to him by picking Hand over the Tattered Pack and say Remain Silent. He will reward the Sorry emote (if instead you only have the option “Expose Nian Suichang” this is fine too and gives the same result). It’s important you return to Nian Suichang immediately after collecting the Tattered Pack, otherwise his questline can break if you progress too far.

Shrine: Snowy Passage
Behind the enemy that dropped the Rebel Orders.

NEXT: Snowy Passage

Is there a reason for Li Dingguo to named differently or is it the difference between PC and PS5 version? Because It’s Li Dingguo for PS5 instead of Li Dingo.

In my game it’s Li Dingo (PS5).

I follow your guide and you say by the npc qiau ying, when you give her a item in a prior area, but it isnt noticed anywhere?
But it’s only for some items right?

Giving her the White Jade Dumpling is in the guide for Shu Sanctum. If you follow the guide so far you will have given her the White Jade Dumpling already.
If you didn’t give her the item and she doesn’t appear in the 2nd region it won’t void any trophies or endings though. Her questline isn’t needed for anything important.

You should at least put her in the guide earlier if you’re going to bother mentioning her here. Most people following this guide are probably afraid to talk to any NPC unless it’s explicitly stated in fear of voiding a trophy.

It has always been in the guide, earlier where she appears at Shu Sanctum. If you don’t get her here you didn’t follow the instructions in the guide.

      Quote from guide:
“NPC: Qiao Ling (Item: Divine Gift)
From the shrine go upstairs and talk to the old woman. Give her the Peachwood Amulet (was given by Qiao Lin, the dying man in Reverent Temple near the start of the game). She gives you 1x Divine Gift.
You can give her the White Jade Dumpling received after defeating Lu Hongliu, then she will leave the area.”

Feels like bad game design to break a quest just for accidentally going to the 3rd region early. I got punished for exploring? As a gamer you see a path hidden behind some breakable item, you think, hey must be a secret hidden path, but no, it leads to a 3rd major area. As a result just for touching the shrine at Mt. Zhenwu I lost the white robe elder quest at Cloudspire.
I don’t mind playing the game again since I’m enjoying it but that’s disappointing as a mechanic.
