The Path of the Kusarigama is a sensei tale in Ghost of Yotei. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the The Path of the Kusarigama side quest.

The Path of the Kusarigama Task 1
Just travel to the location on the west side of the map. You will see the Snow Drift Springs Shrine here. Kill all enemies in this area.
After that, you have to light up three lanterns in total to proceed. They are located to the left, right, and opposite the entrance to the shrine. Grab the torch from the first spot opposite the entrance, and light up the middle lantern here.
Then, to the left of the entrance, light up the left lantern.
And on the third spot, to the right of the entrance, light up the right lantern.
Now you can crawl through the entrance. Inside, follow the path until you reach the enemy camp.
Here, kill all enemies and also free the prisoners on the left side, near the cliff. It does not matter if you do it during or after killing the enemies.
After killing the enemies and freeing the prisoners, a little cutscene with the prisoners starts. After that, at the end of the camp, you will have to light up the lantern on the left to climb up the ladder nearby after.
Walk over the rope and turn left to find the shrine. Here, pick up the puzzle box. The game will show you exactly how to open it.
After opening the box, swipe down on the touchpad to pray at the shrine. This finishes the first task.
The Path of the Kusarigama Task 2
You will have to kill all enemies in this area.
After that, free the weaponsmith in the middle of the area. He will get marked too when you are near him. This finishes the second task.
The Path of the Kusarigama Task 3
For this, you have to go to any of the Altars of Reflection. It does not matter which one you choose. Here is one location.
Once you are at an altar, select Melee and then the Kusarigama tree. Here, select any of the skills. This finishes the third task.
This finishes The Path of the Kusarigama in Ghost of Yotei.
