Game Info
Nioh 3 takes the Samurai Soulslike series in a new direction, departing from the linear mission-based design, and instead going fully open world. Unlike previous games, it features an open world map and all collectibles get marked. The story missions are shorter, and most of the time is spent on exploration and clearing optional content to complete all regions. Playing thoroughly is rewarded in the form of permanent stat boosts and various helpful rewards that make you more powerful. Trophies and Achievements take much less time to complete than previous games, around 50 hours to reach 100% completion. The old 3-Stance Samurai style including all old weapons are back, but this time there’s also a new Ninja style that excels at fast past hit-and-run type gameplay. During the story you will visit 4 different regions throughout various eras of Japanese history. Since all missions are replayable, and all areas explorable after the story, there’s nothing missable and you can tackle the game any way you like.
