Days Gone We’re Fighting a War Walkthrough

We’re Fighting a War is a Main Story Mission in Days Gone. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the “We’re Fighting a War” Main Quest.

We’re Fighting a War Starting Location

This mission will start immediately after arriving at camp and meeting Captain Kouri. This mission starts in Crater Lake.

Walk with Captain Kouri Russell

Immediately after arriving at camp and meeting Captain Kouri, you will get to see the men’s life in the new camp. For your first objective, simply follow him on foot. Captain Kouri wants Deacon to stick around and help any way he can.

There’s something Captain possesses that makes Deacon think that Sarah may still be alive and somewhere around the camp. Deacon, once again, starts investigating.

Find a Drifter to Question

To acquire more information, Deacon decides to question one of the men that, however, far looks from being militia, Taylor Wade. The man isn’t exactly cooperative and all he does is mock Deacon’s name. Nothing helpful, let’s keep looking.

Search the Diamond Lake Militia Encampment

Now Deacon decides to investigate three tents in the encampment. Follow each marker to complete your objective. Unfortunately, no sign of Sarah.

Meet Captain Kouri at Your Bike

After becoming aware that Sarah isn’t at the encampment, Deacon decides to join Captain Kouri for a recon ride and to also prove him that he’s a worthy addition to the camp.

This concludes We’re Fighting a War mission in Days Gone and transitions seamlessly into “Prove it to Me” after the cutscene with Captain Kouri.
