Characteristics: Eating a sweet apple caused its evolution. A nectarous scent wafts from its body, luring in the bug Pokémon it preys on. Its body is covered in sweet nectar, and the skin on its back is especially yummy. Children used to have it as a snack.
Appletun Location in Pokemon Sword & Shield: You can find Appletun in the following locations:
- Evolves from Applin when you feed it the evolution item “Sweet Apple” (obtained in Hammerlocke by giving an Applin to the boy at the exit to Route 6) – Shield Exclusive
- There are no locations to catch this Pokemon in the open world. It’s from evolution only. You can only get the required evolution item in the Shield Edition. Sword players have to be traded this Pokemon from a Shield player.

With the Isle of Armor expansion pack, Appletun can be caught when shaking the tree on the northernmost island of the Stepping-Stone Sea.

I haven’t come across any Appletun, only Applin? I have the pass and I checked the island, am I maybe doing something wrong?
