Evolution: Applin > Flapple (use Tart Apple to evolve) / Appletun (use Sweet Apple to evolve)
Characteristics: It ate a sour apple, and that induced its evolution. In its cheeks, it stores an acid capable of causing chemical burns. It flies on wings of apple skin and spits a powerful acid. It can also change its shape into that of an apple.

Flapple Location in Pokemon Sword & Shield: You can find Flapple in the following locations:

  • Evolves from Applin when you feed it the evolution item “Tart Apple” – Sword Exclusive
  • How to get Tart Apple: From the Pokemon Center in Hammerlocke, head all the way to the left and you’ll see a boy standing by a drawbridge (exit to route 6). Talk to him, pick 2nd dialogue “I haven’t” and give him your Applin. He shows it to his girlfriend and gives you a Tart Apple as a reward.
  • There are no locations to catch this Pokemon in the open world. It’s from evolution only. You can only get the required evolution item in the Sword Edition. Shield players have to be traded this Pokemon from a Sword player.
