Height: 01.90 m, Weight: 120.0 kg, Color: Gray
Evolution: Rhyhorn > Rhydon (Level 42) > Rhyperior (Trade Rhydon while it’s holding “Protector” item)
Characteristics: It begins walking on its hind legs after evolution. It can punch holes through boulders with its horn. Protected by an armor-like hide, it is capable of living in molten lava of 3,600 degrees Fahrenheit.

Rhydon Location in Pokemon Sword & Shield: You can find Rhydon in the following locations:

  • Route 10 (Near Station)
    • NON-OVERWORLD – All Weather (Lv. 43-46) – 25% Chance
  • Dusty Bowl
    • OVERWORLD – All Weather (Lv. 41) – 100% Chance (fixed encounter) – A level 41 Rhydon is walking around the south of Dusty Bowl. When you battle it, it takes some time to respawn and will usually be there again the next day (or quite game before it saves to try catching it again)
    • NON-OVERWORLD – Intense Sun (Lv. 40-45) – 58% Chance
  • Lake of Outrage
    • NON-OVERWORLD – Intense Sun (Lv. 50-52) – 33% Chance
  • Wanders around Bridge Field during Intense Sun, Sandstorm.
  • Wanders around Lake of Outrage during Sandstorms.
  • Wanders around Dusty Bowl during Raining, Thunderstorm.
  • Wanders around Giant’s Seat during Normal Weather.
  • Wanders around Motostoke Riverbank during Intense Sun, Sandstorm.
  • Wanders around Stony Wilderness during All Weather Conditions.
  • Evolves from Rhyhorn (automatically at Level 42)

  • Special Defense: 45
  • Speed: 40
