Shaft Entrance is the 10th shrine in Cloudspire region of Wuchang: Fallen Feathers.
Collectibles Overview:

Cloudspire – Shaft Entrance
NPC: Fang Yao
Sits to the right of the shrine. Can agree to help or Refuse to help. Choose agree to help to advance her questline.
Bamboozling #10
Drop off the right side of the path where the swinging clubs are, then follow this until you reach the large spider enemy that shoots corruption. It spawns in front of this enemy.
Used Mortar (Wu Gang item)
Same place as the Bamboozling, purple item on the ground, to the right of the corruption spider.
Forgotten Remembrance (Manna Vase Upgrade)
Immediately after above in a room filled with gold and some enemies, right beside the shortcut door back to the shrine.
Mad Doctor’s Research Note (Quest Item)
Continue through the area until you have to use a switch to open a stone gate (can’t miss it, all paths lead to it, main story path). After this turn right and drop down into the big room. Pick up the purple item.
(Glut’s Token (Quest Item) – Only if you told Glut to “Search For His Master”
In the same room as Mad Doctor’s Note. If you previously spoke to Glut and told him to SEARCH FOR HIS MASTER there will be a white robed enemy near a structure with an orange umbrella. You will see Glut’s body on the structure, and receive the token when you defeat the enemy.) -> if you followed the guide recommendations then Glut will have survived and you won’t find him dead here. This is just a “good to know” for how else his questline can unfold.
Jade Pendant: Crimson Pendant
After going up in a tunnel where boulders are rolling at you, at the top of the ladder you must climb to progress. On the main story path in plain sight, where you have to pull a wall-switch. Pretty much unmissable.
NPC: He Youzai
In the next outdoor section immediately before the next Shrine. Can show Mad Doctor’s Research Notes, Research Journal – Scrap 1.
Shrine: Cloudspire – Bride’s Boudoir
On the main path after He Youzai NPC, can’t miss it.
NPC: Xuanyangzi
Can now fast travel back to Reverent Temple, go upstairs to talk to the man sitting at the table. Give him Mad Doctor’s Research Notes.

Does it matter if I give the “Mad Doctor’s Research Notes and “Research Journal – Scrap 1” to He Youzai? I gave it to Xuanyangzi basically immediately after receiving the items. I saw his face in the “teleport” thing so just assumed I was supposed to go on and give it to him. So He Youzai never saw those items and is asking “if I found any clues?” I sure hope it doesn’t matter!

Why do I have 11 Bamboozlings when it should be 10? Been following this guide since the start

If you mean Bamboo Shoots, you also get a few of those from NPC interactions, so they’re not a reliable way of tracking your amount of Bamboozlings.
There are only 20 Bamboozlings in the game, unless you explore areas out of order you won’t have more than in the guide.

I thought I followed guide perfectly, but somehow glut was not near a white robe enemy. There was no enemy. So I traveled back to where I met the two kids in cityspire and found him dead and got Gluts token off his body there. There was another item in the little house by him too but I didn’t catch what it was.
