Characteristics: It has a preference for hot things. When it rains, steam is said to spout from the tip of its tail. From the time it is born, a flame burns at the tip of its tail. Its life would end if the flame were to go out.

Charmander Location in Pokemon Sword & Shield: You can find Charmander in the following locations:

  • After beating the story, return to Postwick (town where the game started) and go to Hop’s House (second building you visited during the story). Upstairs in Hop’s bedroom will be a red Pokeball on the floor. This contains Charmander. It’s only available after you finished the story, there’s no way to get it any sooner.
  • This Pokemon cannot be caught in the open world.

    Its also Shiny-Locked, you can’t get get it shiny even if u reboot the game 1000000x times. But stats will be different with 3 Maxed IV’s, always)
