Zinc is an oxide resource, commodity and crafting material in No Man’s Sky. It is used to craft antimatter and other upgrades. You can also use it to recharge the shielding of your suit and ship.

Locations:
- On planets it can be harvested from plants (~20 zinc per plant). Use your scanner to locate these yellow symbols:
- Can be bought at any space station and from traders arriving at space stations. They usually have 20-50 zinc to sell. Enough to build a warp cell.
- Rarely from attacking cargo ships and destroying space pirates.
