Copper is a neutral element, commodity and crafting material in No Man’s Sky. It is used to craft some upgrades and can be sold for a decent price.
Locations:
- On planets it can be mined from tall rocks (and floating rocks). On some planets they are quite rare. You can fly close to the surface with your starship to spot them. They give hundreds of copper per rock.
- From shooting large asteroids in space. In some solar systems they are very common.
