Nickel is a neutral element, commodity and crafting material in No Man’s Sky. It is used to craft various upgrades and can be sold for a decent price.
Locations:
- On planets it can be mined from tall rocks. Some planets have lots of them, others don’t have any. You can fly close to the surface with your starship to spot them. They give hundreds of nickel per rock.
- From shooting asteroids in space.
