Emeril is a neutral element in No Man’s Sky. It can be sold for a very good amount of units, making it perfect to get some quick cash.
Locations:
- On planets it can be mined from tall rocks. Some planets have lots of them, others don’t have any. You can fly close to the surface with your starship to spot them. They usually give over a hundred emeril per rock.
- From mining green crystals found on some planets.
- From shooting asteroids in space. In some solar systems there are plenty of emeril-rich asteroids, in others they are non-existent.

Is there a type of planet I need to look out for because I couldnt find one of these planets or solar systems with those types of asteroids, for ages and I need them for a space ship shield upgrade
