Here you can find guides to all Hitman 3 Challenges for Mastery in each level. There are 6 maps and each of them features lots of challenges. The challenges are only available while playing online connected to the servers.
Doing Challenges increases your Mastery Level. This in turn unlocks new gear, weapons, starting points, and secret stashes. The unlocked gear can be used on all maps across the game. Mastery Level 20 is the maximum you can reach in a mission. To reach Mastery Level 20 you only need about 85% Challenges done per map, not all of them.
You can save a lot of time with smart manual saves at important points (especially before killing your targets). Do a challenge, for example by killing your target a certain way. Then reload the save to do other challenges or kill variants. Exfiltrate the mission when you’ve done everything possible and it will count everything you did. Quitting the level won’t update your Mastery Level though. You have to finish the level afterward to make the Challenge count! But reloading saves in between is fine and you don’t need to redo the challenge requirements. They are all tracked through the online function immediately.
Most kill variants still work when knocking out your targets first. If you need to defeat someone in a specific room or with a specific trap (chandeliers, electricity etc.) you can knock them out first and drag them where you need to. This makes things easier for you.
