Hitman 3 Chongqing (China) Certainty Principle Walkthrough

Certainty Principle is a Mission Story in Hitman 3 Chongqing, China (End of an Era quest). This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of Hitman 3 Certainty Principle.

How to Reveal Mission Story

As usual, track it from the Mission Stories menu after starting the level. The clue that activates this storyline is found in the Restaurant. Overhear the woman talking to the board member. See the location below.

Keep listening to them.

Find the P41 form

You must now find the P41 form. It is in the apartment building across the street. A waypoint will mark the spot. The door is locked by a keypad. The Code is 0118.

Alternatively, you could also climb in via the roof (hang off the ledge of the roof and climb down).

Disguise yourself as the board member

Go back to the restaurant where you overheard the conversation. Get the disguise from the board member. You can throw something to distract the nearby cook, then quickly knock out the board member and disguise yourself without anyone noticing.

Talk to the guide / Follow the guide

The guide should be waiting in the stairwell behind the restaurant’s kitchen. Talk to her while disguised as the board member.

Then follow her inside the ICA facility. She will automatically interact with the keypad by a container that opens the ICA Entrance. For future playthroughs, remember the Code for this is also 0118 (it’s the same code for all ICA-related keypads in this level).

Approach the guards to get frisked

Inside the facility the guide will start your security clearance. You must get frisked by the guards — if you have any illegal items (firearms) in your inventory drop them where nobody can see. Only then you can get frisked.

Follow the guide / Hack a computer to let Olivia in to the system

Keep follow the guide into the facility. At one point a 60 second timer will start and you must find a computer to stop the timer. The same room where the timer starts has a PC on the left. Get the Access Dongle from the desk in that room and aim your camera at the panel by the window in front of the PC. This will darken the window so the person on the other side can’t see you interacting with the PC.

Keep following the guide afterward until she introduces you to Royce.

Follow Royce

Follow Royce throughout the facility. She will walk you through the core and eventually lead you to her office which has a big console to interact with.

Listen to Royce

Royce will tell you that her algorithms can predict people’s behavior. For a demonstration of this, she gives you a choice of 3 ICA employees who you can fire and she has predicted what each of them will do.

After Royce is done talking this mission branch will finish. You can now take her out however you like. It’s a good idea to make a Manual Save here so you can reload it later for different Challenges.
