No Man’s Sky How to Find Atlas Station (Atlas Interface)

August 9, 2016 by PowerPyx 11 Comments

At the very start of No Man’s Sky the Atlas Interfaces (formerly Atlas Stations) are blocked. In the third solar system you enter a monolith will be marked automatically with this purple icon: alien-monolith (do not confuse with the small stone pillars that unlock new words).

The monolith is a large stone altar. Interact with it and you will get 1 warp cell + an Atlas Station gets marked on your star map. This is a scripted event, part of the storyline. If you ignored the monlith in the third star system another one should pop up in the next one. Once the Atlas Station is marked you just need to follow the purple line on your star map. After finding this one story-related station you have to find them by yourself. They will either pop up as anomalies when one is nearby, or you have to look for a star surrounded by three blue arrows, see screenshot below.

This is what an Atlas Station looks like on the star map (star with blue arrows around it):

just keep travelling to the next system untill you come across another atlas interface or untill you find a space anomally to help you find it, shouldnt take too much searching

What if you finished the atlas storyline but didn’t haven’t the 10 atlas stones in the end? Will there continue to be atlas interfaces? Because I just found a space anomaly and it didn’t give me the option to mark a atlas interface

That’s what I want to know as well. I have gathered 10 stones now and I’ve been flying around the star map, trying to find another station but I haven’t been able to find one yet. I’ve read that you can find the system for one by looking for a star that has a marker around it but I think that might have just been for the people still on the Atlas path and have the waypoint, and not for those who have reached the end and failed to have 10 stones. Since the “Atlas path” disappears after that. I would hate for it to be that you have to check each of the 18 quintilion stars individually to see if they have a station on them.

I’m in the same boat. The Atlas wanted 10 stones but I only had 9, so it turned me away. I bought another stone and went back, but it wouldn’t talk to me again. So, I’ve been searching more or less randomly for another Atlas Interface. No luck yet.

I got 10 atlas stones, never sold one, followed the path to what I thought would be the final destination, it required me to find the warp reactor tau blueprint, this took me hours, finally found it, warped to the system the map guides me to… No atlas station… ??? … So it seems for some who follow all of it get no justice either!!

I’m also in the same boat on Xbox. I got to the last atlas station but didn’t have all ten of the stones. I warped around looking for the materials to make the stones but by the the time I did I couldnt locate the original atlas station. I’m screwed.

Same here, I did the quest two times (yes, you read well). I already have the star seed and did the quest again, but I cannot speak with atlas. After going through a black hole the quest just snapped and I can’t get the damn atlas to appear.
