From the start of this tale, you should be missing only 5 skills under the yari category if you haven’t invested any skill points into it already. This means you’ll need to find 5 Altars of Reflection so you can learn all of the skills under the skill tree.

Strike the persimmon tree

With all the skills learned under the yari category, go back to Sensei Takahashi’s Dojo and attack the persimmon tree with your yari.

This finishes Sensei Takahashi’s Persimmon Tree in Ghost of Yotei.
