The Prism Scale in Pokemon Sword & Shield is used to evolve Feebas to Milotic. This guide shows where to find the Prism Scale Location in Pokemon Sword and Shield.
Prism Scale Location:
- You find “Prism Scale” on Route 2, in the big lake left (west) of the Professor’s House. You must first unlock the Water Bike to reach it. The Professor’s house is the last building at the end of Route 2. In front of the Professor’s house is a big blue carpet with a Pokeball logo on it. From the carpet drive your water bike to the bottom left edge of the screen to enter the lake (Screenshot #2). The Prism Scale is hidden inside the water. Drive to the very north of the lake and you can see a glimmering item in the water when you get close enough. Just hammer the A-Button to pick it up when you’re surfing over it. This item pickup contains the Prism Scale!
Prism Scale Usage:
The only use of Prism Scale is to evolve Feebas to Milotic. You must equip Feebas with this item and then trade it to another player (locally or via internet) to trigger the evolution immediately. So there are two requirements, Feebas must hold a Prism Scale and secondly it must be traded. It’s one of the more secret evolutions in the game and a very well hidden item.
