Tales of Arise has 31 Astral Flower Locations. Collecting the Astral Flowers give you +10 CP a piece. CP is important to cast healing spells during battle and to keep your spells alive, so having more of it is crucial to get through the hardest boss fights in the game.
Each Gigant (Elite Enemy) drops 1 Astral Flower. The rest comes from Sub-Quests and beating the Ultimate Group Battle in the Viscint Training Grounds (Level 99). Try to grab them as you go through the game to make things a bit easier.
None of the Astral Flowers are missable! You can still find all of them after the story in free-roam. You can go back to all of their places and also still find all their related Sub-Quests and Gigants after the story. You can collect them in any order you like.
To keep track of how many you collected, go to Menu > Field Guide > Play Records > Astral Flowers.
Recommended Guide Use:
- Finish the Story first, get whatever Astral Flowers you find along the way.
- After the story, use this guide to mop up what you have remaining. The reason being that most of the Gigant-related Sub-Quests are unavailable on 1st visit to the respective areas (backtracking is required). After the story, you will have access to all areas.

Astral Flowers #22-#31 – Reward for Training Grounds
10 Astral Flowers are awarded for beating Group Battle Ultimate (Level 99). It’s started in Menancia > Viscint > Training Grounds. First, you should reach level 100. Make sure you play as Shionne. Have your active team consist of Shionne (played by you), Dohalim, Rinwell, Alphen. Make sure you have Shionne’s healing artes equipped (Resurrection, Healing Circle, First Aid are recommended). The reason you want Dohalim on the team is so that he can help you heal teammates and also he can revive you if you die. You will be fighting two bosses. With Shionne you can attack from a distance and heal your teammates in between attacks. The bosses are hard to deal with for close range melee fighters, but quite easy to evade when you shoot at them from the other end of the arena. During the 2nd boss your teammates will go down a lot. But if you unlocked the KO Prevention Skills they can survive with 1HP and you can quickly heal them back, which is cheaper than using a Resurrection Arte. Definitely try to avoid going down as Shionne. You have Dohalim to revive you if it happens but this costs a lot of CP and should therefore be avoided. If you run out of CP it could get tricky. As long as you have enough CP left you can just focus on dodging and healing your teammates and they will damage the boss for you. If you run out of CP your teammates will die quickly, then you need to fight the boss solo. Shionne has many ranged attacks, it can take a while but if you play it safe and keep your distance it’s just a matter of dodging the enemy attacks. It also helps to have defeated all Gigants before, each of them gives 1 Astral Flower (+10 CP each), which gives you lots of extra CP for this fight.
That’s all of the Astral Flowers in Tales of Arise.
