Lost Judgment TownGo School Missions Guide

October 1, 2021 by Gage 3 Comments

School Missions are objectives in Lost Judgment found under the fourth tab of the TownGo app in the pause menu. Completing all of these is required for the following trophies and achievements: TownGo Freshman, TownGo Senior, as well as TownGo Master for reaching 100% completion. This guide will walk you through all TownGo School Missions.

No objectives are missable and all can be completed after the story in Premium Adventure, but some won’t be available until a specific point in the story where you gain access to specific activities or complete specific side content, so don’t worry if you don’t have missions visible or can’t seem to complete them.

School missions are all missions related to the School Stories side content, which you are introduced to the first club (Dance) early in the story, then you are free to come back and work on the rest whenever you feel like. You will gain access to new club activities as you increase Yagami’s Leadership skills, which are raised by playing the different club minigames and progressing the stories. Making your way through the School Stories is fairly self-explanatory. You will sometimes be blocked from progressing stories until you have a specific Leadership level, which the game will tell you on the bottom left of the School Stories screen while viewing a specific club, or by arbitrary progress in other clubs which you can’t specifically tell.

If you need help progressing any of the School Stories, refer to Lost Judgment School Story Walkthrough.

Mystery Research Club

Investigation File 1 – 10: Successfully investigate the clubs/activities.

All missions for the Mystery Research Club are for completing the investigations into the other 9 Clubs/Activities Amasawa prompts you to investigate, followed by completing the investigation into the Professor after you complete the other 9 investigations.

Dance Club

Let’s Dance! / Long Drill on the Beach / Esmeralda / Girls: Score points in songs.

The four missions for the Dance Club are for reaching a specific score on each of the four main game songs in the club. During gameplay, you score points for hitting notes (500 max for Perfect) then receive extra points at the end of the song likely based on how good of a combo you have (the game doesn’t ever specify or explain how this is calculated). You can choose three EX Solo moves to do things such as make all hits Perfect or increase your score when hitting notes (100 extra points per note hit).

All the requirements can be completed on a minimum Easy difficulty (except for Girls), but you need to do almost a full combo and almost all perfect notes to hit the score requirements on Easy. Playing on the higher difficulties gives more room for error in getting the score requirements because of more notes, but obviously, the songs are then harder, so you will have to find the sweet spot for yourself if you aren’t able to play the songs well on the highest difficulty.

Robotics Club

Robotics Club has the most involved requirements for any of the clubs, as it has a bunch of extra stages you need to complete that aren’t played during the normal story, as well as requiring developing all parts like Drone Racing requires, except Robot parts require unique parts that can only be obtained from playing the Robotics Club matches themselves.

Mr. Mechanic / Tinker Man / Part Robot: Develop all parts that can be developed (162).

Parts are developed through the Robot menu. You unlock more parts the further into the story you progress, and the parts are made using the same sort of parts as Drone Parts (wires, metal, screws, etc), along with special Chip type material that you only obtain from winning Robotics Club matches, and Club Funds which you obtain also by winning matches. This is more of a grind compared to Drone Parts as you can’t just buy your way past it with your own money due to the Chip materials.

Beat opponents with over 60% panel occupancy

The remaining missions are for beating all story opponents and practice levels with over 60% panel occupancy. This is completed either by having over 60% coverage when the timer runs out, over by placing a piece over your opponent’s home base to get 100% coverage and instantly win the match, which is generally the recommended method for winning. The levels with “club” or “school” in the name are the ones played during the story, and the ones with random names “Robo Royal” are only played in practice mode.

The recommended way to build your robots is to go full speed setup for your self-controlled drone, then go heavy ranged weapons for the two AI drones. The AI drones aren’t too great about getting around quickly, so it’s better for you to worry about zipping around quickly and have the AI fight the opponents. You first gain access to the ranged weapons halfway through the story matches where the crew suggests making them, but you aren’t required to for progression. You will need to grind the practice matches some to get the chips to make them.

Boxing

Get a first-round KO on each opponent.

All 21 missions for Boxing are for beating each of the opponents by knocking them out in the first round of the match. This is done by running out their health to knock them down, then having them not get back up when counted in, or by knocking them down 3 times in one round. If they do manage to get back up each knockdown and the round-timer ends you will need to try again.

As you progress through the story and beat opponents you can more skills you can purchase from the Teaching Skills part of the boxing menu. You aren’t required to purchase any, but it’s a good idea to give yourself a bigger moveset and get some of the extra skills like instantly knocking down your opponent in exchange for your EX gauge. You also gain experience towards 4 stats when you complete matches, with more experience being awarded the more difficult your opponent is.

For all opponents, you just want to be as aggressive as possible, as you need to run out their health quickly and hope they don’t get back up from a knockdown. You can basically just keep pushing the opponents until you get low stamina, then raise your guard and wait to regain. Once you reach the opponents who use charged punches your best bet for avoiding them is to just dodge to the side and circle around them, and they all track bad and you can normally then get some immediate punches to the opponents back. The only opponent I wasn’t actually able to get the first-round knockout on the first try during the story fight is Go Todoroki (the second last fight). He has a fair amount more health compared to everyone else and blocks a lot, so you might need to grind a bit to raise your stats to beat him with a knockout. You also have to knock him down 3 times, he seems guaranteed to get up the first two times, so your best bet is to use your EX gauge for an instant knockdown after the first time he gets up.

When fighting Kenya at the end of the story don’t worry that the one fight seems to take forever and he can’t be knocked down, because that’s not actually the fight you need to do it during. In the very final fight (and when you replay the fight against him) he goes down relatively easy in comparison, so he is decent to fight against if you need to grind stats.  He will basically just constantly parry your punches and counterpunch, so you just need to watch and dodge to the side if he glows red because he’s punching back. He has way less health and stamina compared to Todoroki, so he’s quite easy on replay.

Biker Gang

Amateur Customizer / Veteran Customizer / Expert Customizer: Buy all custom parts (32).

These missions require you to purchase all the custom parts for each of the 4 bikes. You start out with just the Speed Bow, then gain one more bike after beating each of the gang bosses during the Biker Gang story. The body parts for the bikes contribute to the bike stats during races, so it’s recommended you buy them immediately. The horns for each don’t contribute to the stats, so if you’re short on money you can leave them till later.

Win each motorcycle race

The remaining missions for the Biker Gang are just for winning each race. Each of the races involves you first taking out the gang bikers stopping you from reaching the current race opponent, then completing one full lap of the track before your opponent after the gang bikers are all defeated. When you are just trying to win the lap the basic strategy is to just constantly boost while avoiding whatever your opponent is shooting or throwing at you. All opponents have a very obvious line or spot that’s shown where they are aiming at, so you either just avoid that or guard when you are about to be hit by the attack. Keep two boosts in reserve, and constantly use the third stock of boost to stay ahead. For most opponents they won’t actually get ahead of you once you pass them as long as you continually use boost and can avoid their attacks, on Suou in the final race will really boost ahead of you, at which time you should use all your boost stock to get back ahead of him.

Photography Club

Completion of the Photography Club missions simply requires completing the investigation for it. There are 3 different times you will need to go to the Photography Club, where you will help Mei Toribe try to change people’s behavior by taking photos of them.

Casino

Completion of the Casino missions also simply requires completing the investigation for it. There are three separate objectives you are basically left to, with the end result being you beat Hayakawa and finish the investigation.

Girl’s Bar

Beat each girl at darts 3 times.

The requirements for Girl’s Bar don’t really have anything to do with the investigation itself, they require you to beat each of the four girls three times at darts. To play them you go up to the dartboard and pick who you want to play against, then play Darts like you would against any other opponent. The easiest way to win these is first to get Miracle Darts, which are obtained from Squirrel #21 by Bar Survive in Ijincho: Lost Judgment – All Squirrel Search Locations

When playing Darts your best bet to get it over quickly is playing either 301 or Count Up, whichever you prefer.

Skateboarding

Get Some Air – Section Jam: Reach maximum scores in the skare park missions.

The first 5 missions are for getting minimum scores in the 5 skate park missions, where you are in the indoor skate park and earn points from tricks and picking up coins. To reach the score requirements you need to hold your combo from doing tricks, which grabbing all coins to increase your score. You get more points from tricks by hitting the ramp at high speed, hitting :o: when the bar is in the middle, then mashing the button on-screen during the air spin. In the parks that have rails, you also want to try and jump on them when you go by, as they increase your multiplier as well. A trick for getting higher scores is to grab all coins between tricks and then rush to a combo of 10x, where the game will then spawn gold coins which give more points than the silver ones. For a skateboard to choose you want to use ones that have increased acceleration, so you can reach speed faster leading up to ramps.

Gate to Gate – Skater Paradise: Finish skateboard races in time limit.

The remaining missions are for beating the skateboard races, which you unlock halfway through the Skateboarding School Story events. Races have you racing a group of other skaters to the end of a track marked out through Ijincho. When racing you grab pickups like a kart racer, and jump over obstacles or grind rails which then gives you a boost when you land. For a skateboard to use you want to go with one of the increased maximum speed ones, or preferably the final ones like Purple Drop that give improvements to acceleration, turning, and max speed. Try to get ahead of opponents early, and go off every jump possible to continually boost.

eSports Club

Fujiwara / Yoshiba / Uozumi / Sanbonmatsu: Beat eSpots Club Members at video games.

The first four missions are just for beating the four members of the eSports Club, which is required for completing the investigation.

2/4/8/16 Wins: Win 16 times at the eSports Club game.

You need to win a total of 16 full matches while playing against the eSports Club members. You can easily complete all the other requirements in half the number of matches for this, so you will likely need to grind this part out.

No Damage 2/4 Wins: Win 4 times at the eSports Club game without taking damage.

This requires you to win full games (2 rounds in a row) without taking damage. The easiest way to do this is just choosing to fight against Fujiwara, who barely does anything back at you in matches. You can use basically whatever character you want, but for an extremely easy time you can just use the default character Taka-Arashi. During the match just constantly mash :o: to do a kick which will knock the opponent down. Repeat until both rounds for an easy win.

00 Minutes 40/30/15 seconds K.O.: Win at the eSports Club game with a KO victory within 00 minutes 15 seconds.

This means winning one of the rounds in a match under the specified time. You can use the same strategy as the no damage wins, mashing :o: with Taka-Arashi while fighting against Fujiwara will easily end the round in 7 – 8 seconds.

If you are having trouble with the bike races just lower the difficulty to simple, the boost wil charge really fast

Does the difficulty affect EX Boosts (like in boxing) or difficulty of AI?
Someone said here that if you lower the difficulty, boost in bike races will charge really fast

For the Girl’s Bar missions, they have to be done in Girl’s Bite; winning at The Bee doesn’t count.

For some reason, Yagami thinks it’s rude to “hog the darts,” so you have to leave the bar, re-enter, and pay the cover charge every time you win (or lose?).

Classic arbitrary tedium brought to you by the RGG team. Have fun!
