There are 28 total books needed to unlock all Skills in the Skill Menu in Lost Judgment. They are purchased from vendors, earned as rewards for Side Content, or found in the environment. Obtaining all the books then allows you to purchase all skills, which is required for the “Skill Master” trophy and achievement.
Skill Book Locations
Skill Books are listed in the order that they appear in the Valuables menu, underneath your currently obtained records. Note that for the handful of books that can be obtained during the story or at stores, they only appear at the store after the point you would have been able to acquire them during the story, so you can’t just go to the store and purchase them early.

Excerpts of a True Crane – Gauntlet: Air Yagami clear reward – One of the easiest gauntlet missions, you can only deal damage to the enemies when in the air, so just continually jump off walls or use Sky Dancer Air Walk to launch attacks. 5 minutes is an absurd amount of time to complete this in.
