Monster Hunter World Iceborne: Ebony Odogaron

September 5, 2019 by PowerPyx 1 Comment

Ebony Odogaron is a large Monster that you can slay or capture in Monster Hunter World Iceborne. It requires the Iceborne DLC expansion.

Characteristics: This Odogaron subspecies is forever on the prowl for its next meal, and is often seen carrying fresh kills in its mouth. Reports indicate it goes into a frenzy upon eating.

Useful Information: When frenzied, it uses dragon elemental attacks, but hunters can hit its head with their own elemental attacks to calm it. The key to success is to keep it from feeding.

Known Habitats: Ancient Forest, Wildspire Waste, Coral Highlands, Rotten Vale, Elder’s Recess, Hoarfrost Reach

Element Weaknesses:

  • Fire: 2/5
  • Water: 3/5 (most effective)
  • Thunder: 2/5
  • Ice: 2/5
  • Dragon: 1/5 (least effective)

Ailments:

  • Poison: 3/5
  • Sleep: 2/5
  • Paralysis: 3/5
  • Blast: 2/5
  • Stun: 2/5

Master Rank Rewards & Carves:

I just got the DLC and I really enjoy playing it. I feel like monster Hunter world is like a souls game. It depends on what monster you fight but overall, I love the gameplay, the weapons and armor as well. The story is good too. Ebony. Odogaron is a cool monster, but not easy one to say the least but if you have a veteran when it comes to video games, you’ll be able to one shot him no doubt, especially if you have good skills like earplugs and partbreaker
