Monster Hunter World Iceborne: Ruiner Nergigante

September 5, 2019 by PowerPyx Leave a Comment

Ruiner Nergigante is an Elder Dragon and large Monster that you can slay in Monster Hunter World Iceborne. It requires the Iceborne DLC expansion.

Characteristics: Countless battles have only hardened this Nergigante variant. In addition to healing, its spikes grow tougher as it loses health.

Useful Information: Like its cousin, it attacks with white and black spikes, but also possesses metallic spikes that do not regrow. Break them to greatly reduce the monster’s lethality.

Known Habitats: None (appears in a main quest that unlocks at Master Rank 99, called “To the Very Ends with You”).

Element Weaknesses:

  • Fire: 1/5 (least effective)
  • Water: 1/5
  • Thunder: 2/5
  • Ice: 1/5
  • Dragon: 3/5 (most effective)

Ailments:

  • Poison: 2/5
  • Sleep: 2/5
  • Paralysis: 2/5
  • Blast: 3/5
  • Stun: 1/5

Master Rank Rewards & Carves:

  • Immortal Shard
  • Nergigante Cortex
  • Nergigante Hardclaw
  • Annihilating Greathorn
  • Eternal Regrowth Plate
  • Large Elder Dragon Gem (*break off horn a second time, or cutt off tail)
  • Nergigante Flail
  • Pure Blood
  • Nergigante Gem
