Monster Hunter World Iceborne: Brute Tigrex

September 5, 2019 by PowerPyx Leave a Comment

Brute Tigrex is a large Monster that you can slay or capture in Monster Hunter World Iceborne. It requires the Iceborne DLC expansion.

Characteristics: Blackish brown scales and a stronger roar set this Tigrex subspecies apart. Extremely aggressive, even by Tigrex standards.

Useful Information: As with its standard cousins, it will tire after repeated charges, so attempt to bait them out. Breaking its head is an effective way to weaken the monster’s roar.

Known Habitats: The Guiding Lands (will first appear in Guiding Lands Rotten Vale Region at Level 6 – must be Master Rank 69 or above to increase Region Cap to Level 6)

Element Weaknesses:

  • Fire: 0/5 (least effective)
  • Water: 3/5 (most effective)
  • Thunder: 2/5
  • Ice: 1/5
  • Dragon: 1/5

Ailments:

  • Poison: 2/5
  • Sleep: 2/5
  • Paralysis: 2/5
  • Blast: 2/5
  • Stun: 2/5

Master Rank Rewards & Carves:

  • Brute Tigrex Shard
  • Brute Tigrex Cortex
  • Brute Tigrex Hardclaw
  • Brute Tigrex Hardfang
  • Tigrex Mantle (*Cut off tail or break head to get this part to drop)
