Game Info
Control Resonant is the 2nd game in the series, after the 2019 game titled “Control”. The game takes place in an apocalyptic Manhattan, after supernatural “Hiss” enemies have taken over the city. The game consists of half combat and half environmental puzzles. Much of the gameplay revolves around traversing the environment, which often requires shifting gravity to walk upside down on buildings. This works similar to the “Gravity Rush” game, and it will test your visual perception and orientation skills. The quest log often indicates what to do but with limited objective guidance and wants players to find their own path. When it gets confusing what to do, refer to the walkthroughs below. A playthrough will last anywhere from 20-40 hours depending on how thoroughly you play and whether you enable Assist Mode settings to make it easier or not. Nothing is missable, all areas are still fully explorable after the story in free-roam. Feel free to do as much content as you like during the story, or simply clean it up afterward. There are 67 collectibles tied to trophies & achievements. Be sure to open any resource crates you find, they will come in handy to craft artifacts. Most collectibles also get marked on the map when you go near them. You’re in for a unique and mind-bending adventure.
