Game Info

Resident Evil 4 Remake from 2023 is a completely remade version of the original 2005 game. While the main story stays mostly true to the original, the side content has changed a lot and there are completely new collectibles, challenges, trophies and achievements.

Everything in RE4 Remake is missable due to there not being a Chapter Select. There is New Game Plus however, and everything except Treasures Progress carries over. The game consists of 16 Chapters. You have 20 Manual Save Slots, so could keep a save from the start of each chapter and basically use that as a Chapter Select. It’s one of the hardest Resident Evil games to complete 100%, mainly due to the unlock requirements for the Chicago Sweeper and Handcannon Bonus Weapon. Chicago Sweeper requires beating the game on Professional difficulty and A-Rank, for which New Game+ is allowed. The Handcannon requires beating a completely new game without bonus weapons, for which New Game+ is not allowed. You must also beat the game on Hardcore difficulty with an S+ rank.
