Assassin’s Creed 4 Black Flag Resynced All Friendly Animal Locations

There are 8 Friendly Animals in Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag Resynced (2026 Remake). Interacting with all friendly animals unlocks the Friend To All trophy & achievement.

The official trophy description “Interact with all 7 friendly animals” is slightly misleading because there are actually 8 animals. When you approach them you get the “pet” or “feed” prompt. None of them are missable, you can still find all of them after the story. Some of them roam around a little bit or run away when you enter combat. If an animal doesn’t spawn, fast travel away and hold D-Pad Right to skip time till morning, then fast travel back and everything should respawn.

Friendly Animals

Animal #1: Monkey
In Havana complete the Local Event “Monkey Business” (marked on map in south of Havana town). This unlocks the monkey which you can equip from Inventory > click the 6th Inventory Slot below your outfit. Then pet the monkey in Great Inagua manor or in the Jackdaw captain’s cabin.

Animal #2: Turtle
Found on Abaco Island at the beach (Coordinates: 584, 807).

Animal #3: Dog
In Kingston, at docks where you get off the ship, where you spawn on fast travel (Coordinates: 617, 167).

Animal #4: Pig
In Kingston, from the docks where you spawn on fast travel, go right and follow the beach until you reach the general store. A pig is in the little fenced area next to the general store (Coordinates: 617, 167).

Animal #5: Chicken
In Kingston, walking all around town and also near the pig (Coordinates: 617, 167).

Animal #6: Cow
In Kingston, in the east of town, in a fenced area between the Monkey icon and Harbourmaster icon on the map (Coordinates: 617, 167).

Animal #7: Cat
In Kingston, roams around the market square in the center of town, on the street north of the central viewpoint. Also in other places throughout Kingston (Coordinates: 617, 167).

Animal #8: Parrot
In Havana, you can find a parrot inside a cage at the market square (Coordinates: 211, 586).

Alternatively, after fully upgrading the General Store at Great Inagua, a caged parrot will appear in front of the store (Coordinates: 818, 440). To upgrade the store you need to advance the story to “Sequence 04 – Mission 02: Nothing Is True…”.
