Assassin's Creed 4 Black Flag Resynced Collectibles Guide (100% Completion)

This guide shows all Collectible Locations in Assassin’s Creed 4 Black Flag Resynced (2026 Remake). Each island has its own completion tracker. They are listed here by area and also by type.

For trophies & achievements only the following collectibles are needed: 11 Forts, 7 Underwater Shipwrecks, 5 Legendary Ships, 5 Officers, 8 Friendly Animals, 11 Portraits, 9 Paintings, 41 Art Pieces, 20 Ship Models, Any 18 swords, any 12 Pistols. It’s still worthwhile going for other collectibles as they give useful rewards. In total there are 12 main regions and 46 named locations (islands/caves) with individual collectible trackers.

There is still free-roam after the story and you can still go everywhere. Nothing is missable. Many locations are gated behind story progress. All collectibles get marked on the map when syncing viewpoints, except Portraits which require story progress and only get marked when going near them. The sea map is unfogged by conquering the forts.

It’s most efficient to prioritize the Forts, sail to all islands to unlock fast travel, clear out the Underwater Shipwrecks, then do any remaining cleanup and beat the Legendary Ships. On the map you can press D-Pad Down to filter collectibles by type.
