Assassin’s Creed 4 Black Flag Resynced Blackbeard’s Treasure Location

In Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag Resynced you automatically get Blackbeard’s Treasure Map from the story after Sequence 08 – Mission 01: Do Not Go Gently. Then the quest “Blackbeard’s Treasure” gets marked on the map at Anotto Bay (Coordinates: 590, 245). The treasure is hidden deep inside a cave that requires swimming through a long underwater tunnel and then blowing up two walls with explosives.

Blackbeard’s Treasure Quest Starting Location

Before you can find Blackbeard’s Treasure, you must finish Story Sequence 08 – Mission 01: Do Not Go Gently. You get Blackbeard’s Treasure Map during the cutscene at the end of that mission. Then the quest marker appears at Anotto Bay in Charlotte region.

Blackbeard’s Treasure Walkthrough

When you arrive at Anotto Bay, jump in the water, swim toward the cliffs and look for a damaged diving bell. At the diving bell in the water, dive straight down to find an underwater cave entrance. The entrance is indicated by red jellyfish. This underwater tunnel leads into Anotto Bay. It’s a very long tunnel.

Advance through the underwater tunnel until you reach a big room with multiple pirates. In this room are some small explosive barrels you can carry, place one in front of the destructible wall on the east side of the room where a big brute enemy spawned. Shoot the barrel to blow up the wall.

Take the path behind the wall until you reach another room with pirate enemies. There you find more small explosive barrels, again place one at the destructible wall up the slope behind the waterfall. Blackbeard’s Treasure is behind that wall. When you approach the chest you will automatically get a cutscene in which you open the chest.

After the cutscene, fast travel back to Great Inagua where the updated quest marker appears and interact with the chest on the beach. After the cutscene you get Blackbeard’s Portrait, needed for  The Memory of My Enemy.
